Kc-[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
There were so many interesting names!! I had to stop somewhere though
Wow, and I thought [name_u]America[/name_u] had problems with made up names! I’ve only met one person with a double first name and that was [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I didn’t know it was so popular elsewhere.
I like:
Haris
[name_u]Finley[/name_u]-[name_m]Ford[/name_m]
[name_m]Marcel[/name_m]
[name_u]Carter[/name_u]-[name_m]John[/name_m]
[name_f]Roselyn[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Bailie[/name_f]-[name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Darci[/name_f]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]-[name_f]Lea[/name_f]
[name_u]Devon[/name_u]
[name_f]Ayanna[/name_f]
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]-[name_f]Jade[/name_f]
Can’t stand the rest! I’m not much of a double names person. Seems too long to me.
I like…
[name_m]Marcel[/name_m] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f]
The rest are pretty horrid. I wonder sometimes on the motivation of parents who name their son [name_m]Maximus[/name_m]-[name_u]Hunter[/name_u]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] they want to scare people or just knock us over the head with machismo?
I don’t mean to sound like a snob, but I think many of these names reflect the unclassy (for want of a better word) nature of people who enter their kids into baby contests.
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t understand the amount of double-barreled names. Most of the names themselves are fine, for example [name_u]Skye[/name_u] and [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] are lovely, but [name_u]Skye[/name_u]-[name_u]Brooke[/name_u] radiates ‘low class’ to me. Then other double-barreled names just don’t flow at all imo ([name_u]Max[/name_u]-[name_u]Danny[/name_u], [name_u]Mason[/name_u]-[name_m]Robert[/name_m] for example.) That said, I do like [name_f]Roselyn[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_m]Lennox[/name_m].
Ouch. Yep, that was painful to read. One of my pet hates is double-barrelled names. The other would be trendee/soulless/kre8tiv names. But I like a challenge! So…
Best: [name_m]Marcel[/name_m] (normally yuk, but decent ones like [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] and [name_u]Finley[/name_u] and [name_u]Max[/name_u] are all hyphen-hated) and Aleera or Aanya (in the hope that these are recognised in other languages).
Worst: [name_m]Kylan[/name_m]-[name_m]Lance[/name_m] and KC-[name_f]Jane[/name_f] (but this was really tough!)
Woah… some awful names in here. Like pp, I am not a fan of double-barrelled first names. [name_m]Plenty[/name_m] of nice names ([name_u]Finley[/name_u], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] etc.) have been destroyed by hyphenating them.
Best for boys: Haris? I don’t even like this name, but at least you have the nn [name_m]Harry[/name_m]…
Best for girls: [name_f]Roselyn[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]- pretty, and the most normal.
Worst for boys: [name_m]Kylan[/name_m]-[name_m]Lance[/name_m]… ugh. [name_m]Kylan[/name_m] just sounds like a variation of [name_u]Rylan[/name_u], which I loathe (from personal experiences). The hyphenation doesn’t help the name either.
Worst for girls: Kc-[name_f]Jane[/name_f]. What?! Why contaminate a classic name like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] with this abomination?
favorites -
[name_u]Finley[/name_u]-[name_m]Ford[/name_m] - Not too fond of [name_u]Finley[/name_u]-[name_m]Ford[/name_m] but love each name separately.
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
least favorites -
[name_m]Maximus[/name_m]-[name_u]Hunter[/name_u]
[name_u]Nile[/name_u] Doiglas - [name_u]Nile[/name_u] is nice but Doiglas …
[name_f]Skarlette[/name_f] - I already do not care for this name when it’s spelled [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] or [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f].
Lexiegh-[name_f]Mae[/name_f] - [name_u]Lexi[/name_u]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f] is sweet
Kc-[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
