Hello nameberry experts! This is my first post and I’m THRILLED to have found such an amazing site with fantastic, savvy users to go along with it. I’ve been searching for the perfect baby name ever since I found out that my husband and I are expecting our first child this [name]May[/name]. However, we have very different tastes in names and it’s been a [name]LONG[/name] and tedious journey so far! We decided not to find out the gender, so choosing a first and middle name for both a boy and girl has made this process that much more difficult. But, with a lot of hours spent on my part, we have decided on the first names for both.

However, I need your help to finalize middle names as I’ve started questioning our choices for those and want to feel like I’ve heard every single option before making our decision. My husband loves tradition (specifically, [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Emma[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name] & [name]Claire[/name]) and I am a fan of more unique but “real” names that are not commonly heard on the playground. Our first name choices are a definite compromise between the two, but both seem to be just a step down from being completely traditional and extremely popular. Here are the middle name options that the hubs would be thrilled to use and I really do think they’re beautiful names. But they make the first names even less quirky by adding so much tradition to the middle, and that’s what is making me nervous.
