We’re settled on [name_f]Cora[/name_f] for a FN but still struggling a little with the MN. The current favorite is “[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]”, which I do think will be lovely if we choose it. I don’t think I care that there’s the repeating “R” sound but I’d love to figure out another short MN option that 1) isn’t as popular as [name_f]Rose[/name_f] for a MN and 2) sounds a little “lighter” if that makes sense. [name_m]Both[/name_m] [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sound a little heavy to me - no?
Also, because [name_f]Cora[/name_f] is sort of in the vintage-y style, I’d love if we could pair it with something not as vintage as [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I liked the nature-y feel of [name_f]Rose[/name_f], especially because she’ll be due in the spring but that’s not a deal-breaker.
Our LN has 2 syllables so I’m trying to stay away from a 2-syllable MN. 3-syllable suggestions work too!
I think [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a great option!!!
