I thought it would be fun to share my list of combos I had when I was ten. (I was very interested in the periodic table if you can’t tell lol)

[name_u]Scout[/name_u] Potassium
[name_m]Pluto[/name_m] Yttrium
Cinamon (spelt like that) Phosphorus

Seems like I struggled with boys names back then too:

Chile Selenium
Tree Osmium

What I had called my pets in a game:
Asteroid (dog)
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] (raccoon)
[name_u]Mercury[/name_u] (pigeon)
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] (rabbit)
[name_u]Neptune[/name_u] (bird)

I still like a lot of them (the first names, not the middles :joy:)

Which ones are not too bad? And which ones are the most ridiculous?

Those are great :joy:

I kinda love Skylar Caesium, Minty Lutetium, & Lotus Flourine. And I love Mercury & Neptune!! Selenium & Beryllium are cool too.

Wattle Molyndenum & Willow Zirconium are :grimacing:

These are fun! They kind of read like a themed NB UC :grin:

[name_u]Lotus[/name_u] Flourine, [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] Beryllium, [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_u]Mercury[/name_u] are my faves :slight_smile:

I think your pet names are flawless, 10/10 :heart_eyes:

I’m quite into this periodic table name idea, maybe not these exact ones but it’s a fun place to get inspiration! [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] Caesium, [name_u]Willow[/name_u] Zirconium, [name_u]Lotus[/name_u] Flourine, and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] Zirconium all sound like nb names to me! And I quite like [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] Beryllium and [name_m]Pluto[/name_m] Yttrium too :eyes: and [name_m]Xenon[/name_m] as a middle!

I can easily imagine versions of these being real (and quite stylish) names, eg [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] [name_f]Beryl[/name_f] or [name_u]Lotus[/name_u] [name_u]Florence[/name_u] maybe…

Cinamon Phosphorous sounds like a band, or possibly a really bad flavour of popping candy or something :laughing:

Beryllium as a middle name is actually pretty cool! Wondering why you didn’t just use Plutonium instead of having [name_m]Pluto[/name_m] as a first though :sweat_smile:

If I saw the girls’ middles listed on their own, I would have thought “they’re not really names” but, for some reason, I think they’re perfectly usable in those combos! :sweat_smile:

I think I like the sound of [name_f]Luna[/name_f] Zirconium the most :blush:

[name_u]Piper[/name_u] (rabbit) almost seems like a play on [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Rabbit, but I imagine that was not 10-year-old you’s intention

[name_u]Piper[/name_u] does sound like a play on [name_m]Peter[/name_m] rabbit but yes, I’m pretty sure that’s not what I was thinking. I actually have no idea why I chose [name_u]Piper[/name_u] because I’ve never liked the name
