What will the top names be in the year 2025?

My Prediction:

Obviously I am predicting a lot of Maddies and Addies :slight_smile: I also see [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f], [name_u]Madison[/name_u], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Adele[/name_f] etc to be within the top 100.

I made my own list for this a while ago, although looking back on it I don’t agree with some of my old predictions. Now I see:

  1. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (although maybe not. People are already putting yellow CAUTION tape around this one. I hear all the time how extremely popular it is, even though its number 11 and most people think of popular as top 10).

  2. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] (apparently just starting to bother people with its popularity)

  3. [name_f]Mila[/name_f] (with [name_f]Mila[/name_f] Kunis and people starting to catch on that [name_f]Mia[/name_f] is popular…)

  4. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] (unfortunately not going anywhere any time soon. I’m honestly tired of hearing about Emmas)

  5. [name_u]Avery[/name_u] (everywhere nowadays)

  6. [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] (or [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. Contrary to what most think, I think Frozen and [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] will give [name_f]Ella[/name_f] more of a boost than [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], tbh)

  7. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] (it’s new so everyone loves it. I’d also rather see this up here than my [name_f]Violet[/name_f])

  8. [name_u]Harper[/name_u] (everyone in my grade’s second favorite girl’s name)

  9. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] (might sneak back up on us. Plus I don’t want to send my fave [name_f]Lila[/name_f] to the guillotine of popularity)

  10. [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] (I swear, [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] is everyone in my grade’s favorite girl’s name)

  13. [name_m]Ryder[/name_m] (everyone’s go-to “cool kid” name now)

  14. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] (everyone loves V’s and O’s and er’s… why not?)

  15. [name_m]Jaxon[/name_m] (X’s are the new black)

  16. [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] (if not this then [name_u]Dean[/name_u]… if not [name_u]Dean[/name_u] then [name_m]Castiel[/name_m]… you get my drift)

  17. [name_u]Jace[/name_u] (this generation’s version of [name_m]Jason[/name_m])

  18. [name_u]Noah[/name_u] (although maybe not since its not expected to hold its number 1 crown for even one more year)

  19. [name_m]Brody[/name_m] (just give it time)

  20. [name_m]Julian[/name_m] (people don’t realize yet that its getting popular- a recipe for a top ten name)

This thread makes me nervous about [name_u]August[/name_u]… our front runner. You think it will really make it into the 10- not just name berry standards- but in general? It’s only #319 now for boys I believe… 10 years goes by fast. Eeek! Nervous hah!

@sparkleninja- too funny- many of my girls names are the same as yours. Like you, I don’t see [name_f]Emma[/name_f] or [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] going anywhere anytime soon ([name_f]Olivia[/name_f] would have been my 11th) and I was very close to adding [name_f]Mila[/name_f].
