I really like [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]! I think JJ and AJ are both adorable, but what really puts [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] over the edge for me is that when he gets older, if he’d like a more “serious” nickname, he could go by just [name_u]Jay[/name_u] if he wanted to. I like names with flexibility like that.

All the nicknames for [name_m]Archer[/name_m] seem like they don’t age well AJ / [name_m]Ace[/name_m] / [name_m]Archie[/name_m].

I really like [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]! I’m from [name_f]Alberta[/name_f] [name_f]Canada[/name_f] where we have a beautiful mountain town named [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], therefore the name has a great outdoorsy feel to me. I do also like [name_m]Archer[/name_m], but it doesnt feel as substantial as [name_m]Jasper[/name_m].

I agree that the initial nn JJ is better than AJ. I know a 22 year old male that goes by JJ and it works really well on him.
