2 middle names - good or bad idea?

I just can’t decide on one middle name. I need one with 2 syllables to offset a 1-syllable first name ([name_u]Reid[/name_u]). But I also want to incorporate [name_u]James[/name_u], a family name. Is it too much to go with 2 middle names? e.g., [name_u]Reid[/name_u] ‘[name_m]Gavin[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]’ or [name_u]Reid[/name_u] ‘[name_u]Quincy[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]’. Would love to hear your thoughts.

No it’s not to much my entire family has 2 middle names including me I get nothing but complement’s I’ve never had trouble with paper work or forms like a lot of people worry about … I plan on all of my kids having 2 middles

I think the names you listed flow well. [name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] is very handsome. What about [name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]? More than one syllable and incorporates [name_u]James[/name_u].

I like the sound of the 2 middle names and think its a fine idea. I also love [name_u]Jameson[/name_u], which is 3 syllables, but flows nicely as well.

It’s not really a think done in my family but a couple of my cousins have two middle names. I didn’t really like the idea but I have too many favourite names so decided to go for two. I prefer [name_m]Gavin[/name_m] to [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] but [name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] flows a lot better.

I have three names, though mine is a double first and a middle. Most of my family has at least three names. When I tll people my full name I’ve had some say that they are envious or they plan to give their children three names. It’s becoming more common to see children with three names in my area, but no one has had to make changes to accomodate, or anything like that.

I think you chose a nice combo with [name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u].

I think [name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] sounds great, but two middle names are fine, as well.
