2 middle names options

We are having our last child this year. Our third boy. :baby: After some consideration we have decided on 2 middle names. Now wondering which order to put them in? Asking for perspective…is there a typical order you put them in when the names are honor names?You can comment below as well if you have additional info.
[name_m]Simon[/name_m] is the first name. The two middle names are [name_u]Eli[/name_u] (dh) and [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] (my maiden name)

2 middle names
  • [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]Eli[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [last name]
  • [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_u]Eli[/name_u] [last name]

I like the flow of [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]Eli[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m]. So handsome :heart_eyes:

Much prefer the flow of [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]Eli[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m].

Since [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] is your maiden name it makes a bit more sense to me for it to be beside the other last name.
But I suppose it really is just whatever you prefer.

Simon [name_u]Eli[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] is lovely

Simon [name_u]Eli[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] flows a little more naturally for me. Very handsome!

I’m torn. :joy:

@skylerros me too! I originally thought [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]Eli[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m]…but then I could also see using [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_u]Eli[/name_u]…
[name_f]Do[/name_f] I want my maiden name next to our last name or do I want my husbands name next to our last name…

How many syllables is each surname? First & last letters? I can probably help with that info. :slight_smile:

@skylerros B-r, 2 syllables

I’m confused. Are you hyphening the surname or what?

@skylerros No…the order is [name_m]Simon[/name_m] middle name, middle name, our surname.

Oh. :slight_smile:

I’ll say it’s Bearer because it helps me think. :slight_smile:

I definitely think [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_u]Eli[/name_u] Bearer sounds better, but it is quite a lot of syllables either way. :confused:

SREB or SERB. I’d say SREB.

@skylerros yes, There are quite a few syllables. I don’t mind actually.
