After much deliberation, I believe I may have fallen in love with a name/names. My criteria: Not too popular, goes with last name (which has a double “rr”), and we have two middle names. The first is what we wanted to name a boy, and it was still a top contender for the girl: [name_u]August[/name_u]. The second is a family name, [name_f]Frances[/name_f]:
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is a sweet classic, [name_u]August[/name_u] is a fun name (love it for a girl or boy), and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] is a family name. It’s great, the perfect combination of names!
I love all the names separately, just not together. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is gorgeous and a fab choice! However for me the flow is runined slightly by the two middle names. If I were you, I would just select one middle name and have either [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f], combinations which sound much nicer to my ear than [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_f]Frances[/name_f], which comes across as a little clunky and rushed. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] is beautiful
All three names have the same syllables with the same placement of stress.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] are beautiful but [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] feels stilted.
In my opinion, [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] flows better that [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u] feels tongue-twisty and G-heavy: just try saying it 5 times fast!
