I am drawn to short names (due to long mn), and have only been considering 1 and 2 syllable names. Only recently did I realize that the few 2-syll names I like have something in common…they all are pronounced with the 2nd syllable stressed (i.e. [name]Corinne[/name], [name]Camille[/name], [name]Renee[/name]). Since I’ve only recently discovered this, I was wondering if I could get some [name]Berry[/name] help with other possible names that fit this description (2-syllables, 2nd syllable stressed).
I did this with my second daughter to find her middle name as I knew I wanted something with the second syllable emphasis-it helped to look at french names as those often meet your criteria! lots of examples are above, plus, [name]Louise[/name], etc. [name]Cheyenne[/name] fits the bill too.
Mine either. They’re two syllable, though, and I think that’s what happened.
I know its a bit filler-ish as a middle, but as a first I rather like [name]Marie[/name].
I have forbidden my husband from bringing up [name]Siobhan[/name] anymore but he really loves it. However, one I haven’t seen mentioned that I don’t mind is [name]Sinead[/name]. And I like [name]Roisin[/name]. In order that’s shuh-VAWN, shih-NAYD, and ro-[name]SHEEN[/name].
