Our little girl is two weeks away and we haven’t firmed up a name. Here is our list -

We want something known but not common.

I think [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is very pretty. And if you’ve got it narrowed down to 4, maybe it’ll be easier to wait until she’s born and see what suits her? That’s what I’m doing- I’m due in 2.5 weeks and have 3 potential names.
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is my favorite from your list too. You could use [name_f]Mae[/name_f] as a nn from that. I agree that you may want to wait until you meet her and see what works best.
For an uncommon name, I think [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] works. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] isn’t popular but it isn’t quite uncommon.
Out of your list, I prefer [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] by miles. Were you looking for suggestions, as well, or just opinions?

I am massively in love with [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] right now, so [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] all the way for me! I like [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] quite a lot, too (the nns are darling! I especially love M/[name_f]Em[/name_f], [name_f]Mari[/name_f], [name_u]Ari[/name_u], [name_f]Maggie[/name_f], [name_f]Goldie[/name_f], etc.), but not quite so much as [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].

100% [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], I think it is so so beautiful, and feels like an unexpected classic, the nn possibilities are endless and I feel like it is one of those names that you can so easily picture on a girl of any age.
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is one of those names I find hard to picture on a well respected adult, and while lovely, admittedly reminds me of a cow.
[name_f]Mae[/name_f], I have a personal vendetta against this spelling, I overwhelmingly prefer [name_f]May[/name_f] (it is part of my own name), I think it makes a refreshing choice as a standalone first name and is lovely, of your names this would be my second choice after [name_f]Marigold[/name_f].
[name_f]Lilou[/name_f] I want to love because it has such a beautiful feel, but it just reminds me of a lilo.
I prefer [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. I can picture it on a little girl, and after reading The Great [name_m]Gatsby[/name_m], I can see it on an adult too, which I admittedly can’t for both [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilou[/name_f].
[name_f]Mae[/name_f] is a second. I do like it a little better for a middle name.
