We’re having a really hard time making a final decision on a baby name and only have a few weeks left! When I thought I was having a boy, I decided on a name right away…but girl names are proving to be more challenging. In high school, my name was one of 6 so I’m particularly sensitive but then I find myself liking [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] which is super popular. I would like something somewhat unique and I particularly like Z names. I’m open to other middle names too…my husband and I have 4 g-mas that all start with ‘Ma’ so that would be nice like [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], etc…I love [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] but it spells ‘PMS’ with our last name. Let me know what you like best…
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]! If you wanted to include a Ma- name, maybe you could do two middle names? [name_u]Harper[/name_u] is cute, but it’s pretty popular so if that’s something that concerns you, [name_u]Harper[/name_u] might not be the best option. [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] is pretty and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] flows very well. Also, [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] isn’t super popular. [name_f]Zella[/name_f] and [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] are nice. I’m not fond of the [name_f]Izabel[/name_f] spelling of that name, but I do like [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is not a popular spelling so that might help set your daughter apart.
Overall, my favorites are [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]. I think something like [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] would be adorable!

As far as a name with MA, maybe you could go the [name_f]Margot[/name_f]/[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] direction still with [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] or [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]?
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t worry, we’ll help you make a decision! If not wanting your little girl to be one of several in her class is a prime consideration, I think that helps a lot in narrowing down your list. With that in mind, here’s how I’d rank your choices:
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] – unusual PLUS you honor the grandmas. To me your real choice is between [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] and [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] with either [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] in middle place – I like them pretty equally.
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] – You can call her [name_f]Zella[/name_f] if you want. [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] would also work in the middle (and I’d prefer it, both for distinctiveness and the grandma factor)
[name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] – Distinctive; I just think [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] is a less attractive name than [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] or [name_f]Azalea[/name_f], which are pretty equal to me.
[name_f]Zella[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] – If you want to go this way, I think you should name her [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] and call her [name_f]Zella[/name_f].
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] – [name_u]Piper[/name_u] is Number 75 and sure to climb higher. Adorable but I think you might be disappointed in the popularity.

[name_f]Izabel[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] – [name_f]Izabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are both variations of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] so redundant plus [name_f]Izabel[/name_f] is both confusing and way to popular in all its forms.
I really love [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]! I also like the suggestion of [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] or [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. (I think the second flows a little better)
Thanks so much! That was initially my very favorite name but hubby is a landscape architect and couldn’t get over that it’s a plant…ugh…but said he’s coming around to it. I just love that its so unique. Some of my relatives said they hated it because it reminded them of [name_m]Iggy[/name_m] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] and that it sounded trashy?! :-? and that never crossed my mind so then I was worried.
