Year 10: [name_f]Faith[/name_f] is born with a severe lazy eye and she requires surgery to have it corrected.

Year 13: [name_m]Nate[/name_m] & I go on a mission trip to South [name_f]Africa[/name_f] and fall in love with 2 little orphaned siblings and decide to adopt them. Year 19: We (yet again) buy a new home in Nashville to fit our family even better. It has 10 bedrooms.

2018: We buy a holiday house in the Alps, so we can go skiing more easily.

2021: We try to conceive but are unable to. However, on a family trip to South [name_f]Africa[/name_f], we visit an orphanage, and fall in love with some of the kids there. We end up adopting twins, Isisa and Thando (7), siblings Thula (9), Nomsa (4), Siboniso (3) and Lwandile (2). It’s a lot of work with so many little kids, but we can travel during the winter (and during Australia’s summer) because none of the kids are in school yet. Year 12: Very unexpectedly I fall pregnant with B/B/G triplets! We’re so surprised and it takes us a while to get used to the thought, as we thought we were done having kids. Year 13: We buy a holiday house in [name_u]California[/name_u], and all of the kids are excited to go there on vacation.

2019: Another year, another baby! [name_m]Quintin[/name_m] [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] Swift joins the gang. [name_u]Quin[/name_u] makes 5 under 4.
2020: My mom, [name_f]Mariana[/name_f], comes and lives with us in [name_u]Concord[/name_u], MA, for 5 months, so she can spend time with her grandkids. It’s a long way from her home back in La Jolla, CA.
2021: We try to conceive but are unable to. However a fertility test shows everything is fine.
2022: [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] develops a hernia, and needs surgery. Luckily it’s only minor, but it causes us a bit of a scare!

2024: We decide that now the kids are all over the age of five that they will enjoy a huge holiday. We spend two months of the summer in Europe, visiting all the touristy hotspots and managing some down time at the beach as well.

2031: We take guardianship of our neighbours’ kids when it is discovered that they’ve been badly hurting them. 2032: I’m shocked when I unexpectedly fall pregnant AGAIN but this time with triplets. They became quick friends and kept in touch throughout the year before meeting again in their summer homes. After having an on-again-off-again relationship through university, [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] proposed after [name_f]Freya[/name_f] graduated, at the beach near their childhood vacation homes. They got married after [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] had graduated and moved into a three-bedroom apartment near where [name_f]Freya[/name_f] got her first job, while [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] worked to become a lawyer. Here’s our life:

Year 1: We go to my high school reunion where we tell everyone about our new life together.
Year 2: [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] finishes his degree so we move to a new house closer to his job.
Year 3: After trying for a year, I fall pregnant with a baby boy! [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Wolfe[/name_m] Kemper joins us on a bright [name_u]June[/name_u] 16th morning.
Year 4: After bringing [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] home, I am completely in love with having a baby in the house. We quickly conceive again, this time a girl named [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Leonor[/name_f] Kemper. She is born on a cool [name_u]December[/name_u] 3rd.
Year 5: Unfortunately, not everything is well with [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]. After she was born, they discover something wrong with her kidneys. She needs surgery to fix it and thankfully she recovers well.
Year 6: [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] decides that he’s not happy with his job and opens his own law firm.
Year 7: We are shocked but excited to find out that we’re expecting twins! Our two precious girls, [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Aria[/name_f] Kemper are born on a dry [name_u]July[/name_u] 21st.
Year 8: We had originally planned to wait a couple more years after the twins before trying again but fate had a different idea. We welcome our second set of twins on a stormy [name_u]November[/name_u] 30th. Their names are [name_m]Conrad[/name_m] [name_u]Emory[/name_u] and [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] Kemper.
Year 9: I become Cookie Mom for [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]'s girl scout troop!
Year 10: Since [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] are identical, a picture of theirs is noticed on the Internet and they are casted in a TV show!
Year 11: We have another baby girl! [name_f]Lilja[/name_f] [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] Kemper joins us on a hot [name_f]May[/name_f] 2nd afternoon.
Year 12: We adopt a puppy! [name_m]Olaf[/name_m] is a terrier.
Year 13: After having a slow year at the firm, [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] is on the hunt for a new job. His career takes our family to Vancouver, [name_f]Canada[/name_f]!
Year 14: A few years have gone by so we decide to have another child. Nothing could have prepared us though to hear that we are expecting three! Year 17: Thinking I’m done having kids, I go to a routine doctor’s appointment to discover that I’m pregnant! Surprise baby [name_m]Torin[/name_m] [name_m]Sirius[/name_m] Kemper joins us on a dark [name_f]October[/name_f] 19th night.
