Yr4= With three young babies I decide to get a new job as a part-time childminder so I can spend more time with the children without giving up working altogether.

Yr5= We wanted to wait until the children were a little older before introducing more, but I find myself pregnant nonetheless! We name our second son; [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] [name_u]Peyton[/name_u].

Yr6= [name_u]James[/name_u] gets himself a new job as a Business Consultant Manager. With four little ones the extra salary is very useful!

Yr7= I start writing an online blog about raising four children without spending ridiculous amounts of money. I especially blog about healthy, easy meals that please everyone and educational toys that I’ve found to benefit them.

Yr8= Now that [name_u]Ira[/name_u] is 6, [name_m]Bram[/name_m] & [name_f]Evie[/name_f] are 5 and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] is 3, [name_u]James[/name_u] and I talk about more children… And wind up with boy twins! Yr9= My cousin passes away leaving her two daughters in mine and [name_u]James[/name_u]'s care, we bring home five year old [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and two year old [name_f]Odette[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] and settle them as quickly as possible.

Yr10= [name_u]James[/name_u] sees how popular my blog is and I convince him to give writing one himself a go. The subject of his is balancing his work life with being a father.

Yr11= [name_u]James[/name_u] and I inherit a large sum of money from his grandparents who passed away within several months of each other. Having outgrown our house long ago despite extensions and loft conversions, we use a lot of the money to buy a eight bedroom house. Another large portion of it we put towards our first family holiday abroad. And the rest goes into savings and investments.

Yr12= [name_u]James[/name_u] gets fired from his job after an altercation with his boss concerning [name_u]James[/name_u] taking a few days leave to look after the kids whilst I was ill escalated. He quickly finds another job however as he has a great reputation in his business.

Yr13= I want one last pregnancy but [name_u]James[/name_u] and I are finding it difficult so we turn to “mild” fertility drugs which end us up with triplets! We name the babies; [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_m]Rigby[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] and [name_f]Rita[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Peyton[/name_u].

Yr14= As if our family wasn’t big enough, we adopt two puppies. One puppy is a husky-Alsatian mix which we name [name_m]Achilles[/name_m]; the other is a blue Staffordshire bull terrier called Softie.

Yr15= [name_u]Early[/name_u] one frosty morning, [name_u]James[/name_u] slips when letting the dogs out and cracks his head open. Our oldest son [name_m]Bram[/name_m] finds him unconscious and raises the alarm, lucky [name_u]James[/name_u] comes around by the time the ambulance crew arrives but they still take him to hospital. He’s on the verge of hypothermia and has a concussion but is released later that day.

Yr16= Some of our smaller children find [name_m]Achilles[/name_m] and Softie a bit rough to handle, so I take a few of them to the shelter and we bring home a three year miniature dapple dachshund who has the name [name_m]Bruce[/name_m].

Yr17= With all of my babies in education I pick back up the reigns of work and start a job as an [name_u]Early[/name_u] Years Co-ordinator.

Yr18= I finally write a book! I’ve been writing since I was a teenager but finally I get some of my work for teens/young adults published. The book is a dystopian adventure and called Maybe Tomorrow.

Yr19= I fall down the stairs and dislocate my shoulder! I end up having to go to hospital because I’ve also fractured it at the same time which totally messes up my schedule! But in the end I’m fine and [name_u]James[/name_u] does a brilliant job of picking up the pieces.

Yr20= SURPRISE! At 42 years old I find myself gobsmacked and pregnant. To complete the full circle I give birth to a singular daughter. She’s gorgeous and to show off her beauty we christen her; [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Peyton[/name_u].

Year 2: Work has been rough for both of us, so we decide to take another vacation at the end of the year. This time, we decide to fly to South [name_u]America[/name_u], specifically [name_u]Rio[/name_u] de Janeiro, [name_u]Brazil[/name_u].

Year 3: The house is getting a bit lonely, so we decide to adopt a cat. She’s solid black, save a little white patch in the center of her forehead. We decide to call her Snowflake.

It’s a big change for us all, but the girls eventually adjust to their new environment.

Year 5: Our family is invited to go on a talk show. [name_u]Aidan[/name_u]'s quick thinking saved countless lives during a particularly bad fire, and so they wanted to award his heroism and bravery.

Year 6: By surprise, we find out we’re expecting a baby! We have a baby girl, born happy and healthy on [name_f]October[/name_f] 31st. We decide to name her [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. She has my brown hair, and her father’s light brown eyes.

Year 7: We take in a foreign exchange student for the span of a school year. His name is [name_m]Sebastien[/name_m], and he’s from [name_f]France[/name_f]. We have a lot of fun as a family, and are sad to see him go at the end of our time together.

Year 8: A member of our family is certified a genius! It’s [name_f]Cora[/name_f]. We’re all incredibly proud of her.

Year 9: It’s getting a little cramped in our house now that [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is out of the toddler stage, so we decide to move. It’s a two story house that sits deep in the woods, but not so far from town that we’re completely cut off from civilization. It’s big enough for each of the girls to have their own room, and even a playroom for all their toys.

Year 10: We decide to take our first big vacation as a family. We go [name_f]Savannah[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and wander around the historic district.

Year 11: [name_f]Luna[/name_f] accidentally falls off her bike and hits her head. She needs stitches and will be perfectly fine. She’s right back to playing as soon as we get home.

Year 13: One of [name_u]Aidan[/name_u]'s friends at work is having some financial troubles and can’t afford to take care of his children anymore, so we offer to take them in. He has three, all boys. The oldest is ten, and his name is [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]. The second oldest is nine and his name is [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Alastair[/name_m]. The youngest is seven, and his name is [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] “[name_m]Law[/name_m]” [name_m]Victor[/name_m]. [name_u]Asa[/name_u] and [name_m]Law[/name_m] both have dark brown hair and eyes, but [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is blonde haired and brown eyed.

Year 14: It’s getting to the point where the kids are having to sleep 2 and 3 people to a room, so we decide it’s high time we moved to a bigger house. This time, we move to a large old Victorian that sat abandoned for countless years. It will take some fixing up, but there’s nothing seriously wrong with the house. The kids are happy because it has a big yard and they can each have a room to themselves.

Year 15: We find out that we’re expecting another baby! It’s a baby girl, who arrives on [name_u]December[/name_u] 1st. We call her [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. She has her father’s hair and my eyes.

Year 16: [name_u]Aidan[/name_u] gets a new job. He’s promoted to [name_m]Fire[/name_m] [name_m]Marshal[/name_m] for the city he works for.

Year 17: After a lot of begging, we agree to adopt a puppy for the kids. They pick out a [name_m]German[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] mix at the adoption center, but while we’re there we all fall in love with another puppy as well. It’s a bulldog mix, and we end up taking him home too. The [name_m]German[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] gets named [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], and the bulldog is named [name_m]Jake[/name_m].

Year 18: [name_u]Aidan[/name_u] gets hurt on the job. While inspecting the scene of a fire, a charred wooden beam breaks off and falls down from the ceiling on top of him. He’s rushed to the hospital, and X-Rays show that he has a few fractured vertebrae. Other than the fractures and some bruising, he’s okay though. He’s ordered to stay home from work for a few weeks and take it easy while he heals.

Year 19: A minor car accident leaves me in the hospital. The damage wasn’t life threatening, but I did have to stay in the hospital for a short while due to a concussion and some minor internal bleeding.

Year 20: We move yet again. This time we buy a three story cabin style house. It has a lovely view of the mountains from the back porch, and we look forward to spending our retirement years here with our big family.
