Today, I got the church newsletter with the names of all the babies baptised in my parish, so I thought I’d share them and see what you all think.

[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]
As you can see, there is an extreme fondness for the middle name [name_f]Ann/name_f. No Emilys (the most popular girl name in [name_f]Ireland[/name_f]) and one [name_m]Jack[/name_m] (the most popular boy name in [name_f]Ireland[/name_f]), but two Aoifes (based on personal observation, by far the most common girl name in Western [name_f]Ireland[/name_f]). What’s your favourite?
