[name_m]Hi[/name_m], you guys!
I’ve asked you all for your suggestions a month ago, and I really appreciated them! I’d like to announce that while we do have few back ups on the hand, I think we are sort of settled on:
[name_m]OLIVER[/name_m] ‘[name_m]LEV[/name_m]’ [name_m]MARZ[/name_m] SURNAME-SURNAME.
To make the story short, I love the fact that [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] has various nickname options for our son to choose from. The nicknames include Oli, [name_m]Lio[/name_m], [name_m]Lev[/name_m], [name_m]Iver[/name_m], [name_m]Ivo[/name_m] and etc! [name_m]Lev[/name_m] means ‘lion’ in Russian and ‘heart’ in Hebrew. I love that [name_m]Lev[/name_m] is international and could be pronounced easily. It’s also something that my son could grow up with easily.
[name_m]Marz[/name_m] means ‘[name_u]March[/name_u]’ in [name_m]German[/name_m]. It plays a subtle tribute to my maternal grandmother who was born in [name_u]March[/name_u]. The [name_m]German[/name_m] origin nods to my bf’s side. I also like the ‘[name_u]Mars[/name_u]’ connection.
Phew! This naming business is hard!
Now all we have to do is to wait for a year until our bun gets concieved. I hope this would fit our babe if it ends up being a boy!
What do you think?
