23 days until my due date ... vote on our final two!

After much deliberation, we’ve finally narrowed it down to these two options for a boy! (We’re team green so it could end up being a girl!). Which one would you choose or do you like best? Big brother is Leo :lion:

Would also love to hear the reason for your choice in the comments! Thank you in advance :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

  • Benjamin Thomas Hamilton (Leo + Ben, Benny, Benji)
  • Maxwell Thomas Hamilton (Leo + Max)

I voted for [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- I just think [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m] flows better than [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m]. [name_m]Max[/name_m] is a great nickname too

I think [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] sparkles as much as [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. They both have nature connections through their meanings. I also slightly prefer the flow of a two syllable first with a three syllable last name.

[name_f][/name_f]

(Benjamin [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m] would also be a fabulous name though, and [name_m]Benji[/name_m] is adorable.)

I prefer the name [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and think it goes better with [name_m]Leo[/name_m]! [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] is probably my least favourite lengthening of [name_m]Max[/name_m], I prefer just [name_m]Max[/name_m], or maybe [name_m]Maximus[/name_m] or [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m]!

I voted [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]! [name_f][/name_f] I’ve long adored his timeless, friendly, wholesome appeal, and I think he’s so sweet with [name_m]Leo[/name_m]! [name_f][/name_f] I like [name_m]Max[/name_m] a lot too but am not the biggest [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] fan, and even though [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] doesn’t repeat the N ending of your surname, I like the sound of [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m] more? [name_f][/name_f] You can’t go wrong with either option, but [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] has my heart. [name_f][/name_f] Good luck!

[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] would be my choice. [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is warm, friendly and dependable. I also like [name_m]Max[/name_m] but [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] is a little more aloof probably because it also reads as a surname. All the best with your decision!

The name [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] has so many nicknames that all have such different vibes! You’ve named a few, such as [name_m]Ben[/name_m], [name_m]Benny[/name_m] and [name_m]Benji[/name_m], but what about [name_m]James[/name_m] or [name_m]Jamie[/name_m]? [name_m]Min[/name_m] or [name_f]Jin[/name_f] would work too. I know a person who went by Eni because when they were little their sibling couldn’t pronounce [name_m]Beni[/name_m]. The possibilities are endless.

I never thought about both [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] having nature connections, and I absolutely love that! Thanks for pointing that out :slightly_smiling_face:

[name_f]My[/name_f] husband also prefers just [name_m]Max[/name_m] haha! For some reason I love [name_m]Max[/name_m] as a nickname and for day-to-day use, but I just have this gut feeling that I want him to have a longer name as an option, should he want to use it later in life. But I definitely appreciate that [name_m]Max[/name_m] can stand on its own too and maybe we will end up with just that on the day when we see him!

You paint such a lovely picture of [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- timeless, friendly and wholesome are all the qualities I absolutely love about the name! It has had my heart for a long time too. [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] is a recent addition to the list just a few months ago so it’s a bit of a last minute dark horse. I do feel that [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is more “safe” and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s a solid name for a reason and has been on our list for years, which in some ways makes it feel more familiar and perhaps fitting.
