I just can not find a middle name for [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] that I love. So now I’m wondering if I should pick a different name from my list? The other options I strongly considered are:
Thoughts on if any of those names are a better choice? Or should I stick with [name_f]Valencia[/name_f], which I do love, and a mn option that I don’t?
I would go with [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] and a middle name that you don’t love. I don’t leave in US, so I don’t really know how important are middle names there but, where I live, we barely use them (I don’t even have one).
On the other hand, the first name is what your daughter will be called the rest of her life. I definitely think a first name is more important than a middle and that the best choice is to name your daughter what you love, and it seems that [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] is the name for you, so I say, go for it!
Agree with PP that the first name is easily the winner. [name_f]Valencia[/name_f].
I suggest you grill yourself that it is the only reason you are tiring of it though.
I just suggest this ‘souls searching’ because [name_f]Pam[/name_f] (sorry [name_f]Pam[/name_f]) once joined into a thread -picking that the OP had really tired of her long loved name but was reluctant to let go- or words to that effect and the OP admitted that [name_f]Pam[/name_f] had nailed it.
Otherwise once you find the second name I feel you will dread that you ever considered not using it.
Calliope or Evangeline if you really have to alter.

[name_f]Valencia[/name_f] is a beautiful name, but I may like some of your other choices better.
Right now I’m crushing on [name_f]Calliope[/name_f], and I’ve also always wanted to meet a little [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] nn [name_f]Eva[/name_f] or [name_f]Lina[/name_f]!
Valenica [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] and [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] are my favorites. [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is also beautiful. Maybe [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] would even work if your last name was short-ish as that’s a lot of syllables!
If it comes down to it, and you still can’t find a middle you don’t like for [name_f]Valencia[/name_f], I would still stick with it. [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] is the (gorgeous) name you’re going to be saying all the time, and it’s unlikely the middle would ever be used. I do really like/love [name_f]Constance[/name_f], [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Calliope[/name_f], and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] too, but not as much as [name_f]Valencia[/name_f]. Maybe if you love those, you could put one in the middle (perhaps if you don’t think you’ll use it for another possible daughter), even if it doesn’t go perfectly with [name_f]Valencia[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] or [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] [name_f]Constance[/name_f] would be so beautiful.
[name_f]Constance[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] are nice. I like [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] though, and agree that first name choice is way more important.
