3 or 4 syllable names

I find that with our 2 syllable last name, ending in “ley”, 3 or 4 syllable names sound really good.
My picks for girls are:

My problem is when it comes to boy’s names I find many of the longer names too pretentious or something.

Can you help me find one to fall in love with!? Please??

Ok here are some of my favorites…

[name]Callaway[/name] ([name]Cal[/name]?)
[name]Frederick[/name] (nn [name]Red[/name]?)

I don’t know how you feel about nicknames but a lot of these names have friendly approachable nicknames that might help with the alleviate the pretentious sound of the full name?

I really like…

and never thought of [name]Callaway[/name] before and I really like the feel of it!

These names seem more laid back to me and that is what I am looking for.

Any other suggestions?

[name]Benedict[/name] ([name]Ben[/name])
[name]Gardiner[/name] (I know it is pretentious, I just like it!)
[name]Harrison[/name] ([name]Harris[/name])
[name]Thaddeus[/name] ([name]Thad[/name])

Sorry if repeat… just whatever come to my mind:

[name]Dominique[/name] /[name]Dominic[/name]

Some more…

[name]Jeremiah[/name] / [name]Jeremy[/name]

Thank you!

I like …

I am a little concerned with their popularity but I don’t think any of them are the new [name]Aiden[/name]. Most of my girl choices are not in top 1,000 but I will probably have to go more mainstream for boys.

More ideas-

Great list! I can’t use most for one reason or the other but I do think I will add [name]Solomon[/name] and [name]Lazarus[/name] to my list. I actually love [name]Elliot[/name] but my husband is not too keen.

Sorry for any repeats but these are some that you may like! :
[name]Alexander[/name] (nn [name]Xander[/name]?)
[name]Sebastien[/name] ([name]Seb[/name])
[name]Nathaniel[/name] ([name]Nate[/name] or [name]Nat[/name])
[name]Archibald[/name] ([name]Archie[/name])
[name]Orlando[/name] ([name]Orly[/name])

[name]Hope[/name] this helps!
