3 Syllable Middle Name for Sasha?

[name]Hi[/name] All,

We’re still stuck on a middle name for our girl, [name]Sasha[/name], who is due this week. I feel like a three syllable mn would flow best with our last name which is two syllables and starts with a W.

We had gotten close to choosing [name]Sasha[/name] [name]Cassidy[/name], but we’re just not sure. Here is our name list, feel free to make any other suggestions. I think it probably cannot start with a vowel or have too much of a “sha” sound in it, but you guys tell me what you think!

Thanks!
[name]Sasha[/name]

I have eliminated all alliteration ie names that both start with the same letter. Also anything that gives a hissing sound.

Thank you everyone!!! We’re still a mess and believe it or not, my due date was a few days ago LOL.

[name]Do[/name] you like any of the names suggested?

[name]Sasha[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] flows well for me.
[name]Sasha[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name]
[name]Sasha[/name] Daylily
[name]Sasha[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] (four syllables sorry)
[name]Sasha[/name] [name]Myfanwy[/name]

I do like some of the names suggested.

I am preferring not to end the fn with a vowel and begin the mn with a vowel because it feels like it runs together.

I tend to like a lot of names, but then when it comes time to pick I realize that we do want some meaning in there.

I love these:

[name]Sasha[/name] [name]Naomi[/name]
[name]Sasha[/name] [name]Noemi[/name]
[name]Sasha[/name] [name]Fia[/name] (has meaning for us)
[name]Sasha[/name] [name]Fiamma[/name] (has meaning for us)
[name]Sasha[/name] [name]Paisley[/name]
[name]Sasha[/name] [name]Magnolia[/name]

We’re also considering [name]Fia[/name] as a first name and then would look for a middle name to go with it.

[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Fia[/name] is another option we like which has meaning for us.

[name]Naomi[/name], [name]Noemi[/name] and [name]Magnolia[/name] all have the word No or Nay in them, so I think that you like this sound. [name]Noelle[/name] would fit too then imo.

I think that [name]Naomi[/name] and [name]Paisley[/name] are the best mns.

Thanks rollo.

I love them too.

I’m just not sold because we do want to incorporate something meaningful somewhere and we’re still not finding that.

My due date has passed though, so we may go with one of our mns with meaning. I’m sure we’ll know when we see her.

I wouldn’t be so hung up on it, but I think our story is compelling. We both went to the Gulf Coast after [name]Katrina[/name] to volunteer for several months. I moved all of my belongings into storage and moved out of my house and went on a one way ticket. He bought a 26’ truck to help people move their belongings or move supplies around the gulf coast. We met our third day there and fell in love. Here we are nearly 5 years later welcoming our daughter into the world.

We were brought together by a windy storm, and through a shared love of fire art as the people we met up with in the Gulf coast were also part of a fire art festival that we both have attended for over a decade and we both work there.

That’s why we are loving the [name]Fia[/name] and [name]Fiamma[/name] names. Because they mean little flame.

And [name]Magnolia[/name] is the Mississippi state flower… [name]Ah[/name] well. I’m sure we’ll come up with something. It’s been very helpful to post here and see what the berries have to say. Thanks again, Nameberries, for all your help!

I love how you’re trying to use meaningful names! Maybe since the ‘[name]Fia[/name]’ names aren’t working, you could try other names with similar meanings? Here are some…

[name]Serafina[/name]: fiery one
[name]Adena[/name]: fire
[name]Enya[/name]: little fire
[name]Brigid[/name]/[name]Bridget[/name]: goddess of fire (celtic)

I personally like [name]Sasha[/name] [name]Serafina[/name] or [name]Sasha[/name] [name]Bridget[/name]
