[name_f]My[/name_f] first daughter is [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]. I love unisex names - husband isn’t opposed, he just likes names that are more on the feminine side of the spectrum. His list includes [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_u]Palmer[/name_u], and [name_u]Cali[/name_u].
[name_f]My[/name_f] dads name is [name_m]Ty[/name_m] - I would love to use just [name_m]Ty[/name_m] or [name_m]Tye[/name_m] but husband wasn’t too keen on that suggestion as a first name for a girl. Are there names that I could incorporate [name_m]Ty[/name_m] into ([name_f]Tycen[/name_f], [name_u]Tylee[/name_u]…)?
Ignoring your style preference for a moment, some other names that could reasonably lead to ‘[name_m]Ty[/name_m]’ as a nickname might include [name_f]Twila[/name_f] or [name_f]Twyla[/name_f], [name_f]Tyra[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_u]Valentine[/name_u].
I really like [name_u]Cali[/name_u] from your list (although I slightly prefer it spelled [name_f]Callie[/name_f] or [name_f]Kali[/name_f] because [name_u]Cali[/name_u] makes me think of the state–not a bad association, just a strong one for me!). I also love [name_u]June[/name_u] but it feels pretty different stylistically from [name_u]Parker[/name_u] (not necessarily a problem, just something I’m noticing!). [name_u]Palmer[/name_u] is kind of a perfect style match–but maybe too perfect? [name_u]Parker[/name_u] and [name_u]Palmer[/name_u] feel a little close to me. But for some people the matchiness would be a plus, so if that’s you, absolutely go for it! I love the idea of incorporating [name_m]Ty[/name_m]. [name_u]Tylee[/name_u] is cute, and I also like @leafsgirl44’s suggestion of [name_f]Tyla[/name_f] and @morgantaylore’s suggestion of [name_m]Ty[/name_m] all by itself as a middle name! I also know a girl named [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and think it works well. I think just-[name_m]Ty[/name_m] as a middle might be my favorite of these possibilities!
I just came across the boy name Tadgh but I think it would be pretty on a girl as well. It’s an Irish name pronounced [name_m]Tyg[/name_m] but it might be a little out there .
