I’m 36 weeks and we are still stuck playing the name game. I’m hoping once I see her, I’ll know. Until then, what are your thoughts on these names? Siblings [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u], and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u].

Naming is so hard no wonder your struggling especially as your list is beautiful :white_heart:

Anyways here are my thoughts on your list…

[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] ~ [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is lovely a sugary sweet floral name that feels fashionable and in keeping with your other kiddos names. I love the strong purple imagery attached to this name. I love [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] as the middle name for [name_f]Violet[/name_f].

[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] ~ love [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] she’s such a happy summery name that feels bright with gorgeous yellow imagery. [name_f]Adore[/name_f] the nickname [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] and [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is a fabulous middle name. I think [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] feels a little unexpected with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u] & [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] a tad bolder but works.

[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] ~ I like [name_f]Mira[/name_f] and I like [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] but very ‘r’ heavy doesn’t have the best flow I think R can be a bit of a tricky letter when there are tons of them so feels a little off. I think I would scratch this one of your list.

[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] ~ feels incredibly cohesive and almost expected (in a good way) with your kiddos names. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] is fashionable, friendly, sweet and bright absolutely love [name_f]Kate[/name_f] as the middle name.

[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] ~ [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is lovely a classic, strong, timeless, elegant choice with the wonderful meaning ‘compassionate friend’ perfect as she’s the newest friend for her siblings. I like [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] as middle name but prefer the more streamlined spelling [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] ~ very glamorous honestly [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] just oozes old school Hollywood glamour she’s elegant, sophisticated and impactful. [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] makes a fab middle name. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] she lacks the easy going summertime brightness of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u] & [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. I wouldn’t put them together.

[name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] ~ ah it’s odd I love [name_f]Polly[/name_f] and find [name_u]Holly[/name_u] sweet but [name_f]Molly[/name_f] has never appealed to me she reminds me of moles so this combination just doesn’t appeal to me.

If it was me I would want to embrace the happy, fun loving sibling set you have going on and use [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] whilst having [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] Juliet(te) as backups.

I’ve always liked the name [name_f]Violet[/name_f] :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is a simple, respectable middle.

[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is a name with a lot of personality - not boring. I don’t know why, but when I hear [name_f]Irene[/name_f] as a middle, I assume it’s an honor name, like after their grandma or great aunt or something, which is nice.

[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is pretty cute and spunky.

[name_f]Mira[/name_f] is a little-black-dress, chic kind of name to me, but [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] has that “ra” immediately followed by a “ru” sound that’s hard for me to say out loud.

Not to complicate things even more, but [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] could be really nice :slightly_smiling_face:

If I had to choose between [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] (pretty similar options), I think I’d pick [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f].

[name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] has a sweet, cottage-core-y vibe to me. Adorable :bouquet:

I can see why it’d be hard to choose from your list - they’re all great options! You can’t really go wrong with what you’ve got.

[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is adorable. Although may I throw [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] into the mix? Ugh so sweet. But honestly you have a great list to meet her with, there isn’t a name up there I don’t like

violet ruth - this is a lovely name and fits well with your other children’s names. violet has a similar vintage feel to lucy and lincoln, and the middle name ruth ties in nicely as well.

It’s hard! I’m 37 weeks and we’re in the same boat. I love your kids’ names, and from first glance the ones that go best with them to me are [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], especially [name_f]Violet[/name_f] :purple_heart:

With [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], my favourite is [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] also works really well with your kids names, so [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] would be my second choice.

I think [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] and [name_f]Molly[/name_f] have the same vibe.

I know a [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] sibset in real life, so it sounds good to me [possibly because of how often I hear those names together!]

Thank you everyone! Our baby girl is here and we are so in love. We agonized over her name until the last second and we went with [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. It fits her so well. <3

Congratulations!! I’m having a tough time choosing and I’m not naming a little person!
On that note, I must say [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], and [name_f]Mira[/name_f] stand out to me most. They each have wonderful qualities about them and go wonderfully with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u], and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] both feel soft and sweet like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and [name_f]Mira[/name_f] is a little more spunky like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] would be my first pick personally, but I really think you can’t go wrong with any of these three! If you chose [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] would rhyme while [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u] & [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] would rhyme (not sure if that’s a pro or con to you, I like it though).
For middle names, [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is absolutely beautiful (and my favorite combo), [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is especially sweet, but if [name_f]Kate[/name_f] doesn’t have any significance to you I’d vote in favor of [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] or [name_f]Irene[/name_f] for a mn. I also like the subtle repetition of [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]. Good luck! You have such great options!
