39 weeks and still no name! Baby Girl

  1. [name]Lavender[/name]
  2. [name]Violet[/name]
  3. [name]Harper[/name]
  4. Azari

bump…

I would pick between [name]Lavender[/name] or [name]Violet[/name], because I love purple and those flowers are very pretty. [name]Lavender[/name] is my preferred though because it reminds me of the book [name]Matilda[/name], and I love the nn Lav.

Never heard of Azari, and I don’t really like [name]Harper[/name]. It is pretty popular right now, but it always makes me think of the offensive term thrown at women who are being annoying. It is sad, but that is one reason why it has never appealed to me.

I agree; [name]Harper[/name] is too close to harpy, and Azari is a truncated version of [name]Azariah[/name], which is an exclusively male name.

[name]Lavender[/name] is very whimsical as compared to the sweet and refreshing [name]Violet[/name]. I think the decision turns on how ‘edgy’ you want to be; [name]Lavender[/name] will be seen by many as an homage to [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name] whereas [name]Violet[/name] has no, um, qualifications.
