[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all
We found out we are having another girl
A baby sister for [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
Her middle name will be [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and our last name is a long and starts with B its also Danish.
Looking for something shorter preferably
We really like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] but [name_f]Alice[/name_f]'s name starts with A too.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is nice but a bit long
other names on my list are [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Josie[/name_u]
My vote goes to [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] (suggested by all.the.names) or [name_f]Clara[/name_f] (suggested by ceryle). Those are fantastic with mn [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and big sisters’ names!
If you really like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], go for it! It’s a lovely name and how often will you be listing off all your girls? They’ll live most of their lives as individuals… no one will think it’s odd two siblings start with A.
I also really like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] from your list and think the siggestion of [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is great!
I love [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and the PP’s suggestion of [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. If you don’t want to repeat an initial with [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], how about [name_f]Celia[/name_f]? It has a similar sound (although I did just notice that it has all the letters [name_f]Alice[/name_f] does, just in a different order!).
For some reason my head keeps saying [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Eva[/name_f]. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Eve[/name_f].
Also was thinking [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. Or even [name_f]Emily[/name_f], it goes with those classic feminine girls names that age so well.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_f]Charli[/name_f] or [name_f]Lotta[/name_f] as short for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]? Either are super sweet on their own too.
Good luck with It all naming is so hard! We are struggling to come up with our first! Can’t imagine how hard for a 3rd.

Stylistically I think [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is the perfect fit. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] also sounds very pretty. Other options:
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f] together make me think of traditional British names. These to me have the same feel (& apologies for repeats):
I really like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] from your list and like the suggestions others have given of
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]/[name_f]Florence [/nane_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] and
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]
My favorite sibset would be [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], and [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
I would additionally recommend:
Celine
Sibyl/Cybele
From your choices I like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] best… it’s a beautiful name.
Agree that [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are also too close in sound. [name_u]Josie[/name_u], while a cute nn, feels incomplete.
If you like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], what about just [name_f]Mia[/name_f]?
[name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is lovely, offers a different initial, short and sweet and goes well with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f].
