3rd baby girl trouble naming

We have two girls and a third girl on the way having trouble coming up with a name for her. Our first daughters name is [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] and our second girls name is [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Diane[/name_f]. Trouble is coming up with something that is unique yet girly that goes with their names. Some ideas that have been thrown around:

  1. [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
  2. [name_f]Edith[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Edie[/name_f]) [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
  3. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] has family meaning as does our older daughters middle names

[name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is my favorite!

I also like [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. It goes really well with [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] too.

Definitely [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! It works really well with [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].

Yes, it’s clear you like three syllable names and the letter L (and M, but perhaps another name with both M and L in it would be too much).

[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] definitely goes with your other two names and at the same time feels distinctive as it has a different rhythm and ending. Good job!

I love [name_f]Edith[/name_f]/[name_f]Edie[/name_f] but it takes things in a different direction. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] feels a bit too ordinary, especially with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] in the middle.

Trying to think of other names that contain an L and have three or more syllables yet don’t start with A or M, I came up with:

[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] (but obviously doesn’t work with [name_f]Rose[/name_f])
[name_f]Selena[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] (but again, not with [name_f]Rose[/name_f])

I prefer the [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] spelling. I think this name is the most unusual of the choices. Without knowing your surname, here are some other suggestions.

[name_f]Mallory[/name_f], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and sister…

[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Tanith[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_u]Shannon[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]

Well hubby through a curve ball at me last night and suggested [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] which I kind of like still not sure though guess we have more thinking to do

[name_f]Loralei[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is stunning and works well with your other children’s names.

I think [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but not [name_f]Edith[/name_f].

[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] is a great choice!

[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]/[name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is lovely and goes very well with [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. I prefer the -lei spelling, but it doesn’t really matter.

[name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is lovely and way better than [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]. So a big vote for [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f].

[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] is very cute. Nickname [name_u]Rory[/name_u]?

I adore [name_f]Edie[/name_f] ([name_f]Edith[/name_f]) [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! What about:
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Keziah[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Evanna[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Thalia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]/a [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]/[name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]

Edited for privacy.

[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]!

[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]!!! Gorgeous and unique, and I love it with [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. I also love [name_f]Pam[/name_f]'s suggestions of [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Natalia[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], and [name_f]Helena[/name_f].

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] {and}

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f], [name_f]Jillian[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]

[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is fantastic with [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. I do not like [name_f]Edith[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] with your other girls names.

I agree that a name with l or m would tie all three names together. Other possibilites:

[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Marisol[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]

I do like [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] best.
