I love [name]Max[/name], 2nd choice is [name]Luke[/name]. Good luck!

[name]Max[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] is my favorite of your above choices.

I think [name]Max[/name] fits with your other kids names the best, but I really like [name]Patrick[/name]. You never hear that one anymore.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Max[/name]! I like that [name]Jack[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Max[/name] are all classic, one syllable names.

I voted for [name]Patrick[/name]–hardly ever used now, beautiful, both soft and manly

[name]Max[/name] & [name]Patrick[/name] are my top two choices, [name]Max[/name] fits so perfectly with your children’s names, classic, simply, elegant and sweet but [name]Patrick[/name] is a great name too, less common these days but it doesn’t slot in as well as [name]Max[/name] would with [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] but is [name]Max[/name] wasn’t a choice I’d go with [name]Patrick[/name]

[name]Max[/name] is too close to [name]Jack[/name] for my ear… same with [name]Luke[/name]. [name]Ryan[/name] and [name]Patrick[/name] are both great names, but since you have very brief names for the other siblings I’d say [name]Ryan[/name] is the best fit!

What happened to [name]Sam[/name] and [name]Ben[/name] in your signature? I actually really love those with [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Claire[/name]. Otherwise, I think [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] is my favorite–[name]Jack[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Patrick[/name] are so perfect together. I nearly voted for [name]Ryan[/name], but I’m so sick of hearing it here–it’s top 5 in my state. :frowning:

I voted for [name]Luke[/name] [name]Anthony[/name]. Sounds great with [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Claire[/name]!

Voted for [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Anthony[/name]. [name]Max[/name] and [name]Luke[/name] are too close to [name]Jack[/name] [name]IMO[/name]. [name]Jack[/name], [name]Patrick[/name], and [name]Claire[/name] sound beautiful together.

I voted for [name]Patrick[/name]… I like how it goes with [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Claire[/name].

I voted for [name]Luke[/name]! I think it is the nicest with [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Claire[/name]. To me, all of the others would go nicely, except [name]Max[/name]. I consider [name]Max[/name] more of a trendier name and [name]Claire[/name] & [name]Jack[/name] more classic names.

I have a daughter named [name]Claire[/name] as well  My son is [name]Ross[/name], if that’s of any interest to you.

Also – if you’re feeling a little ‘bored’ with your names, maybe just take a break from thinking about it for a month or so, then come back to them.

“[name]Max[/name] [name]Friedman[/name]” in New [name]York[/name] is a little Jewish boy. As your other choices strike me as Catholic, perhaps that might give you pause?

I love [name]Patrick[/name] as well. It’s not commonly given these days, and I like [name]Jack[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Pat[/name] (or Patch, or [name]Rick[/name]…)

As much as I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Ben[/name], I cannot get over the fact that my name is [name]Jennifer[/name] and people that don’t know me instantly shorten to [name]Jen[/name].
I have nixed [name]Sam[/name] since I have a girl cousin named [name]Sam[/name] that has just gotten a bit weird lately and the association is bugging me.

The popularity of [name]Ryan[/name] is making me sick of it too…but DH and DS (who is picky) both love it…

The a in max and jack sounds so similar to me that I vote for [name]Luke[/name]. Good luck!

I love [name]Luke[/name] [name]Anthony[/name]! [name]Jack[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Luke[/name] go great. Second choice would be [name]Max[/name] but I agree and think it sounds too similar to [name]Jack[/name].

It is actually something I have thought about…I am Catholic and raising the kids Catholc. DH is a 1/4 Jewish and then a mix of Italian/French/Irish but raised with no religion whatsoever. I purposely picked [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] for their more all American feel but I find everyone always assume they are Jewish anyway so I am not sure it matters. But we do live in a very Italian/Irish area so it is something to think about.

I think selecting an Irish first name to balance his surname emphasizes his mixed heritage, and that he has many cultures to be proud of. I like [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] [name]Friedman[/name]-- it’s Irish, Italian, and Jewish.

I voted for [name]Ryan[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] before reading your post. After reading, I now think [name]Ben[/name] or [name]Luke[/name], as these sound better with your surname I think and suit your single syllable thing with first names.
