4 months to go - still brainstorming!

Well now that we know for sure we’re having a boy we have our work cut out for us! Spent some time brainstorming names during a long car ride yesterday. Our daughter is [name]Grace[/name] [name]Catherine[/name], but I don’t like traditional boys’ names. The list keeps transforming, but here it is currently! There are still no names that we are “in love” with. Middle name will be [name]Thomas[/name], and the last name is pronounced like “relic”

[name]Auberon[/name]/[name]Oberon[/name] - we like the nn [name]Bear[/name], which I know has been getting a lot of attention lately. Not too sure about this as a formal name yet - it’s a bold choice for us!
[name]Barrett[/name] - again, trying to get to [name]Bear[/name] as a nn. But this kind of just sounds like [name]Garrett[/name] with a B…meh…DH likes it
[name]Callahan[/name] - this one was suggested by DH to get nn [name]Cal[/name] instead of using [name]Callum[/name], which he is lukewarm on.
[name]Callum[/name] - I’ve had this on the list for awhile but DH still says Gollum, argh. I think it’s handsome.
[name]Cullen[/name] - DH suggested this one
[name]Odin[/name] - I like this one, DH is not too sold

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and comments!

I would suggest [name]Callen[/name]/[name]Callan[/name].

The name [name]Orson[/name] means “bear”. Have you considered this name? I prefer [name]Bennett[/name], [name]Emmett[/name] and [name]Everett[/name] to [name]Barrett[/name]. [name]Barrett[/name] reminds me of a girls hair barrette. [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Auberon[/name]? I like the name but [name]Grace[/name] seems bland next to [name]Auberon[/name]. I wouldn’t want one child’s name to fade in the background. [name]Callahan[/name] is ok but nothing exciting. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Calloway[/name] or [name]Sullivan[/name]? If your husband can’t pronounce [name]Callum[/name] correctly, I would cross that one off the list. [name]Cullen[/name] will get people saying: “oh, like Twilight character” alot of the time. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Curran[/name]? [name]Odin[/name] is an interesting Norse name from mythology but [name]Odin[/name] Relic sounds kind of like “old relic”. Sorry but I think I just butchered your list!
