My husband and I are having issues coming up with a name that goes with our long last name. I think it needs to be something with one syllable. I like [name]Max[/name] and [name]Grey[/name] but I am not sold on either one. We would like to use his name [name]Kristopher[/name] as a MN. Any suggestions on what would work?
Are there any longer names you like to hellp with suggestions? I know it depends on the exact sound of your last name, but I know quite a few people with 2 and 3 syllable first names and 4 syllable last names and they work quite nice… you might not have to limit yourself to only one syllable names.
Having said that, here are some one syllable ideas:
[name]Beau[/name]
[name]Rex[/name]
[name]Reed[/name]
[name]Blake[/name]
Jye
[name]Cade[/name]
[name]Charles[/name]
[name]Sean[/name]
[name]Jack[/name]
[name]Rhys[/name]
[name]Jet[/name]
[name]Joel[/name]
[name]Tate[/name]
[name]Jude[/name]
Are there any you like?
Best wishes

[name]Finn[/name]
[name]Jack[/name]
[name]Jax[/name]
[name]Gage[/name]
[name]Cole[/name]
[name]Hugh[/name]
I have a 1 syllable last name, so I can’t use these but I live them:
[name]Mack[/name]
[name]Clive[/name]
[name]Van[/name]
We have thought about other syllable names. Actually the girls name will be [name]Lydia[/name] which I adore. My husband likes [name]Grady[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name] but I am afraid it sounds too clunky with my last name which is Altemeyer. He also likes [name]Jayce[/name] which I feel is too trendy. I haven’t heard a boys name that blends well with our last name.
[name]How[/name] about [name]John[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name], nn [name]Jack[/name]? [name]Jack[/name] Altemeyer is very handsome. Or you could go with Jason Kristopher, nn Jay or Jayce.
[name]Zane[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
[name]Heath[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
[name]James[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
[name]Saul[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
[name]Jack[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name] (or [name]Jack[/name] as a nickname for [name]John[/name] or [name]Jacob[/name])
[name]Joel[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
[name]Flint[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
[name]Rhett[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
[name]Finn[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
