Time Period/Location: Modern, centers around the fictional towns of Crosby, Solomon Falls, and Hardesty; all located in Ontario
Brief Plot: Don’t want to give too much away, but the general theme of the story is people’s humanity.
Character Names: One of my main female characters is Colleen Wakefield. She’s a 28-year-old school teacher with a handicap, 7-year-old son named, Lewis. Colleen has an older sister, and a younger brother. I’ve named them Erin and Ryan. Does the sib set Erin, Colleen, and Ryan work?
Anything else?: Colleen’s maiden name is Phillis. Her parents are Sharon (a school teacher), and Roger (the manager of a baseball team). The other name I’m considering for the older sister is Erica.
If Sharon doesn’t work for the mother, I was considering Melinda. And, if I went with Melinda then I’d use maybe something like Elyse for the sister and Josh for the brother??
I think [name_f]Erin[/name_f] fits better with [name_f]Colleen[/name_f] and [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] than [name_f]Erica[/name_f]! I like the trio of names.
I really like [name_f]Elyse[/name_f] and [name_m]Josh[/name_m] together. Some name suggestions for you:
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Janelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f]
and [name_u]Sydney[/name_u]
I hope this helped!
[name_f]Erin[/name_f], [name_f]Colleen[/name_f], and [name_u]Ryan[/name_u]
[name_f]Elyse[/name_f], [name_f]Colleen[/name_f], and [name_m]Josh[/name_m]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f], [name_f]Colleen[/name_f], and [name_m]Josh[/name_m]
[name_f]Janelle[/name_f], [name_f]Colleen[/name_f], and [name_u]Ryan[/name_u]
I love [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] but I don’t want to use it because It might be a future character as this novel I’m planning to make a trilogy or series.
[name_f]Erin[/name_f] & [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] are super matchy, so I’d do [name_f]Erica[/name_f], [name_f]Colleen[/name_f], and [name_m]Josh[/name_m] It’s a great sib-set. I like both [name_f]Sharon[/name_f] and [name_f]Melinda[/name_f] for the mother.
I was leaning towards [name_f]Erica[/name_f] over [name_f]Erin[/name_f] too. [name_f]Erin[/name_f] would be better suited if the older sister was a lot like [name_f]Colleen[/name_f], but she’s not. The older sister is a little more “bossy”, “popular” are the words I’m going to use.
