We need a name for boy #2. Our first is [name_u]Noah[/name_u] which is a name we both instantly suggested to each other and love. We’re clueless for the second boy. We’d like to stay with familiar names but try to avoid super popular (we were surprised by [name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s popularity).
We’d like to name after [name_m]William[/name_m] but prefer it not as the first name. Thinking of [name_m]Harris[/name_m] or [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] to name after great grandpa [name_m]Harry[/name_m] as a possibility too. Husband loves [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] but I can’t commit to it.
Current thoughts:
[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Harris[/name_m]
[name_m]Harris[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Brendan[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
Open to other ideas too!
[name_m]Adam[/name_m] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
[name_m]Gregory[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
[name_m]Vincent[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
I love [name_m]Harris[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]!
If both you and your husband like [name_m]Harris[/name_m] or [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], then go for it! Those names go wonderfully with [name_m]William[/name_m]. And if you don’t like [name_m]William[/name_m] as a first name, put it in the middle spot.
I personally prefer [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], and it would work well because [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] means ‘son of [name_m]Harry[/name_m]’ and since it would be after great-grandfather, he would be a direct descendant so the meaning would work really well.
My vote goes to [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]!
I would choose [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] for sure. Second choice would be [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m].
