My favourite short form is [name]Dmitri[/name] and my favourite long form is [name]Demetrius[/name]. So I’d spell it [name]Demetrius[/name]. Nothing especially appealing about building “dim” right into the name, if you know what I mean.

Can always call him [name]Dmitri[/name]/[name]Dimitri[/name] for short, though my way is shorter. :wink:

Its a great, strong name, I love it in all its forms.
