41 weeks and counting - which combo?

We’re still waiting for baby and would love some name input. We have these options -

[name]Clementine[/name] Andrews
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name]
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Jesse[/name]
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Marie[/name]
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Charles[/name]
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Alice[/name]

All middles are family names and are listed in order of how meaningful they are to us personally.

I’d love to know which are your favorites and also if you see problems with any of them.

Thanks in advance!

I think [name]Clementine[/name] Andrews is lovely. In my family, all three girls were given surname middle names–not unisex, could-be-first-names surnames, but straight-up surnames. Our parents liked to suggest that if we were ever famous, we could have built in stage/pen names  I like [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] a lot, too. While long, I like the way “em” repeats. [name]Marie[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] would be my next choices, while [name]Jesse[/name] (this spelling) looks masculine and sounds a little dated (Full House?) and [name]Charles[/name] is [name]WAY[/name] too masculine and doesn’t have a particularly nice flow to boot.

[name]Clementine[/name] Andrews - Andrews seems pretty masculine to me or like a last name, so I wouldn’t use it.
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] - It’s really pretty.
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Jesse[/name] - I just don’t like the name [name]Jesse[/name].
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Marie[/name] - Classic and pretty.
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Charles[/name] - [name]Way[/name] too masculine.
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Alice[/name] - This one is definitely my favourite. [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Alice[/name] sounds gorgeous together.

I would save Andrews for a boy, and go with the next most meaningful [name]Emilia[/name]. [name]Just[/name] gorgeous!!!

Depends on what you are going for , [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Emelia[/name] would be my favorite for a beautiful classic name.I also really like [name]Clementine[/name] Andrews though. I dont think it sounds too masculine, [name]Clementine[/name] is such a girly name that I think she could totally pull off the Andrews and it gives it an edgy feel

definitely emilia! very pretty. andrews is a distinctly masculine surname that just doesn’t balance the beautiful and vintage clementine. same with jesse and charles, not feeling them at all.
my second choice would be marie. while i love the name alice, marie seems to flow better (and is obviously higher on your list of importance).
good luck with your late arrival!

I like [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] the most, then [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Alice[/name]. I don’t like [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Jesse[/name] or [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Charles[/name] at all!

I like [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] and [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Alice[/name] the most.

I like [name]Clementine[/name] Andrews and [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name]!

[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] and then [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Alice[/name] would be my choice.

[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Alice[/name] is beautiful!

41 weeks and one day here-- just wanted to post and say to hang in there!! Nice to know I’m not alone

Sounds like the middle name is for personal/family reasons, to honour someone. So make the choice with your emotions or obligations?

Another vote for [name]Clementine[/name] Andrews or [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name]. It’s hard to choose between the two of them, they’re both great names!
