On your names…

[name\_m]Frederick[/name\_m] → a handsome and charming name but [name\_m]Freddy[/name\_m] / [name\_f]Fred[/name\_f] do feel like the go to nicknames. Maybe less so within the family / your close circle who already know [name\_m]Teddy[/name\_m], but beyond that, he may be called that. To be fair though, my cousins have rhyming nicknames and it hasn’t been a huge issue… so maybe if he was [name\_f]Fred[/name\_f] – [name\_m]Teddy[/name\_m] and [name\_f]Fred[/name\_f] don’t sound too close/too much to me 🤷 alternatively, I think you’d need another go to nickname in mind?

[name\_m]Julian[/name\_m] / [name\_m]Julius[/name\_m] → [name\_m]Julian[/name\_m] feels solid but flowing and gentle at the same time – it’s got a a touch of flair and fits with your set.
I do think [name\_m]Julius[/name\_m] does have a bit more edge – not over the top, just a tiny bit more presence? I still like [name\_m]Julian[/name\_m] though

[name\_m]Alexander[/name\_m] → classic and grounded, though I admit it doesn’t sparkle for me

[name\_m]Benedict[/name\_m] → bold but familiar. How do you feel about [name\_m]Beck[/name\_m] or [name\_m]Ned[/name\_m] as nicknames? Or even [name\_f]Benny[/name\_f] or [name\_m]Benno[/name\_m]? He may well end up being called [name\_m]Ben[/name\_m] but maybe less so if he’s got another solid nickname?

[name\_m]Augustine[/name\_m] / [name\_m]August[/name\_m] → I don’t think it would be bad to use [name\_m]Augustine[/name\_m] if you love it! though I do wonder if it would be it feel less ‘special’ now? Or would [name\_m]Teddy[/name\_m] like the idea of sharing something with his brother which could make it feel _more_ special? Then all the bous would have a Au- name?

[name\_m]Constantine[/name\_m] → bold but familiar. I do think it’s rarer than your kids, but it doesn’t see at odds with their full names. What would be your nickname choice?

Some more ideas…

[name\_m]Nathaniel[/name\_m] (Nate, [name\_m]Thaniel[/name\_m], [name\_m]Nat[/name\_m])

[name\_m]Alasdair[/name\_m] or [name\_m]Alistair[/name\_m] (Asa, [name\_f]Aster[/name\_f], [name\_f]Sasha[/name\_f])

[name\_m]Dominic[/name\_m] (Nico, [name\_f]Donny[/name\_f], [name\_m]Nicky[/name\_m], [name\_m]Doc[/name\_m])

[name\_m]Valentine[/name\_m] (Lennie, [name\_f]Val[/name\_f], Vinnnie, [name\_f]Len[/name\_f])

[name\_m]Solomon[/name\_m] (Sol, [name\_m]Solly[/name\_m], [name\_m]Sonny[/name\_m])

[name\_m]Cassius[/name\_m] (Cas)

[name\_m]Raphael[/name\_m] (Raffy, Raph, [name\_m]Rafe[/name\_m])

[name\_m]Ambrose[/name\_m] (Bram, [name\_m]Brosie[/name\_m], Ro)
