Our sweet baby boy, and little brother is 5 months today with no name. Our kids call him, [name_u]Baby[/name_u], pumpkin bunch, cutie, etc. We all really want to start calling him by name and would love to announce it on [name_m]New[/name_m] Years [name_u]Day[/name_u]…
We’ve circled around and around and just can’t commit… Please help us from an outsiders view to get us out of this rut with some fresh new modern ideas.
My husband likes names like [name_m]Cole[/name_m], [name_u]Chase[/name_u] and [name_m]Luke[/name_m] which I’m not crazy about.
We also sort of like these names on our current list but unable to commit [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] (my fav I think), [name_m]Archer[/name_m], [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u], [name_u]Nile[/name_u], [name_m]Colt[/name_m], [name_u]Grey[/name_u], [name_m]Nash[/name_m], [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] (girly?), [name_u]Gus[/name_u]
I think the current top pic for me is [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] so would love opinions on this name. Did love [name_m]Archer[/name_m] but some cartoon keeps coming up when I tell people this name??
What about [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m], Jasper or Harvey?
Our other kids names are [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Evy[/name_f] and [name_u]Rhys[/name_u].
We would appreciate it so much for some opinions and some fresh modern and unique new ideas…

I second [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]! It’s modern, a little quirky, not too unusual. I like [name_u]Gray[/name_u] with your other children’s names too.
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] is an adult’s cartoon, I’ve never seen it so don’t know if that’s a bad association or not. You may try [name_m]Asher[/name_m]? My little nephew is [name_m]Asher[/name_m] and I love it - again, feels modern but not too out there.
I think [name_u]Gray[/name_u] would be great with the sibs’ names! I also like [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and don’t think the cartoon is a big deal. [name_m]Archer[/name_m] is becoming more commonplace as a first name anyways, so it doesn’t seem too out there. I like [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m], [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] too. Other ideas:
I like [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] and [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and agree that [name_m]Archer[/name_m] is fine to use. But if you’re hesitant, what about [name_m]Bowman[/name_m]? I think that [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Evy[/name_f], [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], and [name_m]Bowman[/name_m] sound great together. If your husband likes [name_m]Cole[/name_m], maybe he’ll like [name_m]Colton[/name_m] or [name_m]Colter[/name_m]?
I like [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] the best from your list.
[name_m]Bowman[/name_m] is a great suggestion but it’s a little out there and it’s much longer than your other children names, Bohen or [name_m]Boden[/name_m] while not the same meaning as [name_m]Archer[/name_m] are both great names that might fit.
Also - [name_f]Indy[/name_f] and [name_m]Gable[/name_m] might fit in with your style.
With your other kids names in mind I prefer [name_u]Nile[/name_u], [name_m]Colt[/name_m], [name_m]Nash[/name_m] and [name_u]Grey[/name_u]- I also really like the name [name_m]Luke[/name_m] from your husbands list. While [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] is a nice name I just cannot picture it amongst your other kids names. I do really like [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Evy[/name_f], [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m].
Some other suggestions based on the names you like and what goes with your other kids names:
Hm, is it a case of not being able to narrow down or having too many choices? You could try compiling a list and having each of you (you and your husband) rate the names on a scale of 1-5 (5 being love, 1 being hate). Hopefully there’s one that you both give a 5 to! I like [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u], [name_m]Harvey[/name_m], [name_u]Gus[/name_u] and [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] with your children’s names.
