5 weeks to go and we are still trying to narrow it down. DD name is [name]Lilah[/name] [name]Maria[/name] ([name]Maria[/name] is a family name) Our last name sounds like [name]Roscoe[/name] but starts with an O. What do you think about our current list?
The ones with middle names are our top contenders. The middle names are family names and most likely what we will be using no matter what the first name is.
Since you’re having trouble picking one off the list, I recommend first of all that you eliminate the ones without middle names, since you admittedly like them the least. That will leave you with only the names that you absolutely [name]LOVE[/name]. Then perhaps you should just not worry about picking [name]ONE[/name] name off the list, but take the whole list to the hospital with you and see what your baby looks like. I think by that point you will just know. I personally love almost all of the names you have listed. [name]Rex[/name] and [name]Camille[/name] are MY favorites from your list but that shouldn’t affect your decision. A comment on [name]Killian[/name]: You said your last name is “like [name]Roscoe[/name].” [name]Roscoe[/name] is a surname that can also be used as a first name. If YOUR surname is one that can also be used as a first name, then I would avoid using [name]Killian[/name], which is also a surname. Having two surname-first name names would be tough. I’ve known two men with combos like that, and to this day I can still never remember which name is their first name and which name is their last name.
I like [name]Camille[/name] best of your girls’ names, and I like both [name]Rex[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name] from your boys’ list. I think they’d all make great sibling names for a sister named [name]Lilah[/name].
Of the girl picks, I prefer [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] and [name]Camille[/name] [name]Ellen[/name]. I love the name [name]Evangeline[/name], but [name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Camille[/name] fit better with your daughter [name]Lilah[/name]'s name.
Of the boy picks, I prefer [name]Rex[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Collins[/name]. I absolutely adore the name [name]Rex[/name], it’s so classic and handsome sounding to me! And [name]Rex[/name] seems to fit really well with [name]Lilah[/name].
Good luck and congratulations!
All beautiful names! I feel like [name]Camille[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] definitely fits best with your daughter [name]Lilah[/name]'s name. [name]Both[/name] have some sort of really cool, exotic vibe to me [name]Evangeline[/name] & [name]Matilda[/name] are two of my absolute favorites, but I just don’t feel like they work as well with [name]Lilah[/name] as [name]Camille[/name] does.
For the boy names, [name]Orion[/name] would easily be my top pick. So unique and creative while still keeping that all-boy image. However, I feel like [name]Orion[/name] [name]John[/name] just doesn’t work as a combo. [name]Orion[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] would be a STUNNING alternative! The other names just don’t compare to [name]Orion[/name] for me. I totally get the appeal of [name]Killian[/name] and [name]Rex[/name], but they’re just too harsh to me in comparison to the melodic [name]Lilah[/name]. And [name]Daniel[/name] just doesn’t stand out from the crowd for me.
With [name]Liah[/name] [name]Maria[/name], I think [name]Camille[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] would be stunning. [name]Evangeline[/name] is also a really nice name, but I think it’s too ‘formal’ next to the ‘spunky’ [name]Lilah[/name]. [name]Camille[/name] however fits with perfection.
On the boys side, it’s a little harder to say. None of those names match up quite as perfectly as [name]Camille[/name] does with [name]Lilah[/name], but none of them would be bad. I like [name]Killian[/name] quite a bit, but it sounds too much like Kill [name]Ian[/name] for me to actually use (maybe [name]Cian[/name]/[name]Kian[/name], [name]Keegan[/name], [name]Keenan[/name], [name]Kiernan[/name]?).
I don’t like [name]Daniel[/name] as much, feels a little stuffy next to [name]Lilah[/name].
[name]Ronan[/name] has a sound that works together well with [name]Lilah[/name], and it’s a nice name, but the meaning of it is something I’ve never really liked. Ronen is another option, Hebrew name that means ‘song of joy’ or ‘joy of God’
