Okay, so I am starting over with my girl names and I need nameberry help!
The name hubby and I decided on before I fell pregnant was [name]Cleo[/name] Gace W, then in the first 12 weeks we also settled on [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Grace[/name] W. so I had two names to pick from…but I’ve just lost my love for them. I want the perfect girls name.
This is my new list I have compiled today and I would really love some more suggestions.
The name also has to go with brother [name]Jedadiah[/name] [name]George[/name] W ([name]Jed[/name]).
[name]Will[/name] probably have [name]Grace[/name] as middle name as that’s my Grandmas middle name and we want to honor her. I just need something perfect! Help please berries!
Actually I rather like both [name]Cleo[/name] and [name]Elodie[/name] to be honest. I know it is your grandma’s name, but perhaps you could consider a new middle name to freshen it up? [name]Grace[/name], which while classic is also very overused as a middle name. ‘No [name]Grace[/name]’ Suggestions:
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Cleo[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name] [name]Arden[/name]
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Arden[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Eva[/name]
Another idea, give her 2 MNs:
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Cleo[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name] [name]Arden[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Arden[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Eva[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
Other names that mean [name]Grace[/name]:
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Anissa[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name] [name]Anissa[/name]
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Hannah[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name] [name]Hannah[/name]
I [name]LOVE[/name] both [name]Cleo[/name] and [name]Elodie[/name]. I think [name]Cleo[/name] and [name]Jed[/name] sounds nicer than [name]Elodie[/name] and [name]Jed[/name], though. [name]Both[/name] names sound lovely with [name]Grace[/name] in the mn spot. Looking at the others on your list, I think [name]Vera[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is my favorite amongst them. [name]Vera[/name] & [name]Jed[/name] sound just right together to me.
[name]Maisey[/name] also sounds nice with [name]Jed[/name]. [name]Maisey[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is nice. [name]Esther[/name] is nms but [name]Esther[/name] & [name]Jed[/name] are nice together, too and [name]Esther[/name] [name]Grace[/name] flows well.
The only names I do not like with [name]Grace[/name] in the mn spot are the one syllable names but, as you have a lovely reason for using [name]Grace[/name], I wouldn’t let that be a deterrent.
After all of that, I vote for [name]Cleo[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Vera[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - both are lovely and unique but easy to pronounce & not too likely (i don’ think!) to shoot up quickly in popularity (your son’s name is very unique so that is why i mention popularity).
Good luck!
This is a nice list of names you’ve piled up, huh? I’m not a very big fan of [name]Cleo[/name] and [name]Elodie[/name], [name]IMO[/name]. I mean, they’re okay, but there’s something about the sound of the that I don’t really like. I think it’s great that you’re using your grandma’s middle name to honor her! Who cares if it’s a popular middle name, it’s popular for a reason! Here’s what I think of all the names with [name]Grace[/name] as a middle name:
[name]Cleo[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - It doesn’t seem to roll off the tongue that well to me. There’s just something about the name that I don’t like, I just haven’t put my finger on it…
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - It’s not like it doesn’t roll of the tongue well, I just don’t like the name [name]Elodie[/name]. Maybe try [name]Melody[/name] to replace it, idk.
[name]Arden[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - I think [name]Arden[/name] sounds like a guy’s name. So no.
[name]Esther[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - I love this name! It’s old-fashioned, and vintage at the same time! [name]Love[/name] it!
[name]Maisey[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - It’s cute, but a little too cute [name]IMO[/name].
[name]Vera[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - To me, [name]Vera[/name] sounds like an old ladies’ name. And not in a good way, even with [name]Grace[/name] as a mn.
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - I absolutely adore the name [name]Quinn[/name]! It’s one of my absolute favorites! Unfortunately, because of it only being one syllable, it doesn’t really go too well with [name]Grace[/name] [name]IMO[/name]. Sorry.
[name]Raine[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - Same as above ^
[name]Sasha[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - Nice. I like it. I like [name]Esther[/name] [name]Grace[/name] better, but I like it.
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - This is my second favorite! I think this name is a really lovely name. I just don’t now if it goes with [name]Jed[/name]…
[name]Eva[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - Too popular [name]IMO[/name].
So there you have it. I’m excited to see what you guys choose
I love these new names that you have suggest, but I seem to have soo many associations with the different names.
I hate that my friends dog is called [name]Cora[/name], as it is sooo my style. I think the suggestion of freshening up the middles might be the way we go with [name]Cleo[/name] as the first name as hubby dislikes everything new.
I’m seriously now considering [name]Cleo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Grace[/name].
I think a second middle name might be my next question, THANKYOU for giving me so many options and fresh points of view berries, it’s really helped my thinking process.
I like [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Jed[/name] together. I also think [name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Jedidiah[/name] would be lovely and have you considered [name]Susannah[/name], combo of [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]?
[name]Just[/name] wanted to say how much I love [name]Elodie[/name] (and [name]Grace[/name] too). They have always been faves of mine (can’t use [name]Grace[/name] due to surname). But with such super taste I’m sure whatever you choose will be lovely. [name]Remember[/name] your daughter might play a part in ‘choosing’ her name too! Good luck
