6 weeks left and down to the final 3! - William, Abram or Henry

We’re 6 weeks away from my scheduled c-section on [name]October[/name] 11th and downt to the final 3 (I hope lol).

We’ve been brainstorming boys names for what seems like forever and have come up with a few combos. Nameberry helped us pick our other sons name ([name]Oliver[/name] [name]Wolf[/name]) so I thought the Berries could help us out with our second son as well

Our top 3 combos are…

[name]William[/name] ([name]Will[/name]) [name]North[/name]- (my parents love it and so do we) I think it compliments his brothers name too  I love the
symbolism of [name]North[/name] and what it represents for us. Is [name]William[/name] boring though?..
[name]Abram[/name] ([name]Bram[/name]) Wilde- (not sure about Wilde and feel like we don’t get as much positive feedback from others with
[name]Abram[/name] as we do with [name]William[/name]…not sure why…
[name]Henry[/name] Wilde- (Again, not sure about Wilde as a MN and I’m not loving [name]Henry[/name] [name]North[/name]…I also can’t think of any
nn’s for [name]Henry[/name] ([name]Harry[/name]) that I really like…sigh

Does anyone have any insight or suggestions as to what name might be the best choice or what combo or even additional name suggestions? Nothing’s set in stone

Thank you so much Berries!

It sounds like you really love [name]William[/name] [name]North[/name]! I will say, though, that I think [name]Abram[/name] Wilde is very interesting! [name]Abram[/name] is a handsome yet underused name. I think because it’s less familiar than [name]William[/name] is why you may get some less than positive feedback. But once your child is here, the name won’t seem so foreign! I do also love [name]Henry[/name]. What about [name]Hank[/name] as a nn? [name]Love[/name] it!

[name]William[/name] [name]North[/name] - I really like this option maybe it’s because I dated a guy whose name was [name]William[/name] [name]Bruce[/name] [name]West[/name] and I was kind of in love with that (seriously I had planned to name our kids after him - however that didn’t work out.) Though I’m not a huge fan of [name]Will[/name] and a nn for [name]William[/name]. I think [name]Bill/name much cuter and i prefer the classic or even [name]Liam[/name] as a spunkier version. I think one of the great things for the name [name]William[/name] is that it gives you three distinctive nn that can really go with who your son is and what his personality is going to be.
I’m loving [name]North[/name] - I like it’s cool modern sound with the more classic name. It’s a really nice balance.

[name]Henry[/name] Wilde - makes me think it could have been a brother of [name]Oscar[/name] Wilde. I’m a huge theatre nut so I like that. Also like the classic but classic nn’s would be [name]Hal[/name], [name]Hank[/name], [name]Harry[/name]. [name]Non[/name] of which I truly love but then again [name]Henry[/name] is so short there really is no need for a nn. I’m always a proponent for nn’s that have nothing to do with the actual name and everything to do with your son’s personality - they can develop naturally and I don’t think you need to stress about it if you truly like [name]Henry[/name] - its’ short enough that it’s not cumbersome.

[name]Abram[/name] Wilde - [name]Abram[/name] is defiantly the most unusual of the bunch it has a nice ring to it, but reminds me of [name]Abraham[/name]. I’m not very spiritual and thus the name wouldn’t work for me. If that doesn’t bother you, your son will probably be one of a few he knows (except of course for that pesky A trend going around). Honestly [name]Bram[/name] is not my favorite either, it feels like a desperate need for a nn so we just dropped the first letter. However, the other options like [name]Abe[/name] aren’t necessarily on my love list either. Once again nn’s don’t have to match the name and maybe he will end up being your ‘Wilde Child’.

[name]Henry[/name] Wilde or [name]William[/name] [name]North[/name] would be my forerunners.

I love [name]Abram[/name], and I think [name]North[/name] goes well with it, if you’re not sure about Wilde. Other possible middle names (based on my limited knowledge of what your style is): [name]Eliot[/name], [name]Finch[/name], [name]Huxley[/name], [name]Sawyer[/name], [name]Lysander[/name], [name]Fox[/name], [name]Willard[/name], [name]Jethro[/name], [name]Everett[/name], [name]Oscar[/name], [name]Ozias[/name], [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Whitney[/name]…

Either [name]William[/name] or [name]Henry[/name]. I love both, I think [name]Henry[/name] & [name]Oliver[/name] go together better but I agree with you that [name]William[/name] [name]North[/name] sounds better than [name]Henry[/name] Wilde.

[name]William[/name] [name]North[/name], definitely my favorite. What is the last name? I like the name [name]Abram[/name] but don’t like the spelling. However [name]Abram[/name] Wilde sounds very good. [name]Henry[/name] Wilde sounds like a real person and I’m sure there are plenty of people with that name, as Wilde isn’t that uncommon of a last name-- but I don’t like it much unless Wilde is actually the last name, which isn’t something you could change.

I like [name]William[/name] [name]North[/name], and [name]Will[/name] is a great nickname!! Good luck!

My favorite would be [name]William[/name] [name]North[/name]. [name]William[/name] has always been a favorite of mine…love nn [name]Will[/name] too. [name]Henry[/name] Wilde would be my second choice. I’m sorry but I’m just not a fan of [name]Abram[/name]; I also think [name]Abram[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name] are kind of mismatched for brothers.

[name]William[/name] is great! You could go with nn’s [name]Liam[/name] or [name]Wiley[/name] to make it a little more “fun”. It’s not boring at all, especially with the sparkly mn of [name]North[/name].

For [name]Henry[/name] I like Henno as an unexpected nn. Someone on another thread suggestion [name]Rio[/name]/[name]Ryo[/name] and [name]Enzo[/name]. Those could work too.

[name]Abram[/name] is a great name but it’s a little less well paired with [name]Oliver[/name] than either [name]Henry[/name] or [name]William[/name].

Good luck!
