I voted, but I thought I’d add some more detailed thoughts about your names:
I realize that this might be historical fiction and all, so the names may be accurate, but I find [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] to be a very ugly name. I don’t know how you want the character to be portrayed, but i feel like a lot of people would already have preconceived notions about an [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], mainly that she would be either very ugly or an old, old, old lady. [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] is generally considered to be a member of the group of ugly female names: [name_f]Helga[/name_f], [name_f]Bertha[/name_f], [name_f]Bernice[/name_f], [name_f]Olga[/name_f], [name_f]Gertrude[/name_f], and [name_f]Eunice[/name_f]
(I am sorry to anyone who has any of the aforementioned names. I’m sure they are all perfectly beautiful names if you look at them from a certain angle.)
@stardust17- thank you for the response! While I don’t share your opinions about [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], I do appreciate seeing another viewpoint. Sometimes I need to be reminded that [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] isn’t universally liked.
Odd that nobody is voting for [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. But thank you! Voting closes 1 [name_u]December[/name_u].
I would’ve voted for [name_f]Clara[/name_f], but I don’t think the name [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] fits in with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. If it were [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] or something like that, I would definitely have voted for it.
@stardust17- Thank you for all of your help. I’ve narrowed down my options and put them into sets based on sibling names. If I have time, I’ll set up a final poll this weekend.
Thank you all again! I really appreciate it!
