9 wks preg w 3rd.. ideas needed!!!!

Sorry, I may be posting more before less…

So we have two little girls, [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f].

We get tons of compliments on their names, which I love, I love their names [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]!! So now we are feeling pressure of picking the perfect name if we have a third girl.

I’ve posted in the past and due to our existing “alphabet” theme (my name [name_f]Carol[/name_f], husband [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]) we were thinking [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. But my hubby and I are both not 100% sold on that name. I’m willing to go back to the drawing board and think of a completely different name if it’s the perfect one it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t go with our alphabet theme.

Problems we have with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]… on paper it looks beautiful but it has a little bit of an older feel to it than [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]… I feel like [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] have

edge
fierceness
beauty
power
strength
uniqueness

whereas [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is a bit more
classic
beautiful
elegant
soft

and I’m anything but soft, so I feel like I need something a bit edgier.

Any suggestions???

Thank you in advance!!!

Middle name would be a flower name… perhaps [name_f]Shoshannah[/name_f]… or just a nature name, perhaps [name_u]River[/name_u].

also I feel like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is a bit more common which I don’t necessarily like - we live close to [name_m]Quebec[/name_m] where it’s popular. ([name_f]Elena[/name_f], while popular worldwide, is unique here)

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] or [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f]? Or perhaps you could use [name_f]Gardenia[/name_f] in the middle to go with your alphabet / flower theme and use whatever name you like up front. Best of luck to you

yeah just to be clear - not starting with G, we’ve exhausted our G’s!! Now we’re just open to anything!!! Thank you tho!

Some suggestions;
[name_f]Hermione[/name_f]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]
[name_f]Fleur[/name_f] (following on the flower theme)
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_u]Darcy[/name_u]
[name_f]Lilith[/name_f]
[name_u]Rue[/name_u]
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
[name_u]Rowen[/name_u]
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] (jor-jay-na or george-e-arna)
[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
Not sure if these are all your ‘style’, they were just what I thought of:)

A ‘G’ name that strikes me as strong and beautiful is [name_f]Gaia[/name_f].
[name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Gaia[/name_f] [name_f]Shoshannah[/name_f]?
Or what about:
[name_u]Galen[/name_u]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_f]Greta[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwen[/name_f]/[name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f]/[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f]
[name_f]Gelsey[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Greer[/name_f]/[name_f]Grier[/name_f]
[name_f]Non[/name_f] ‘G’ names:
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Talitha[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]

Here are a few names not really following a certain theme

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]
[name_f]Katelyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f]

Thank you! Something that narrows down the choices are that I don’t want another name that ends in -a since it’s “[name_f]Elena[/name_f]” and -y since I already have “[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]”. Also wouldn’t want another name starting with an E or F. Picky, I know!

Your girls certainly do have beautiful names! Here are my suggestions (Edited once I saw your above post):

Ottilie
Violet
Amabel
Marigold
Clementine
Adelaide
Primrose
Marceline

Your daughters have lovely names!

My suggestions:

[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f]

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] & [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] are beautiful names! I second the suggestion of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and I would suggest…

[name_f]Coraline[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Holly[/name_f]
[name_f]Jessamine[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f]
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
[name_f]Mirabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Oriel[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]

ohhh, I really like [name_f]Alice[/name_f], oh nvm hubs ex was [name_f]Alyson[/name_f] lol

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is actually a fav of mine but I wouldn’t use it because I feel like [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] feel too similar!

[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is one of my favorite names!! And [name_f]Elena[/name_f] is really pretty also! I like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], and its not popular where I live.
What about:
Mikasa
[name_f]Marisol[/name_f]
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f]
[name_u]Alexis[/name_u]
[name_u]Jean[/name_u]
[name_f]Rikku[/name_f]
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cynthia[/name_f]

So many great suggestions!!! I will show my hubby this list and be back to you tonight with our favs from all of you!!! Really appreciate this, I want my baby to know we exhausted all avenues looking for the best name

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] are both stunningly gorgeous. I know you said it didn’t have to be a G starting name, but when I first started reading your thread the name that came to my mind was…[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]. What do you think?

First name that came to mind is [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] make a lovely sibling set.

Here are some others:
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] (great suggestion @jtucker!)
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Rowena[/name_f]
[name_f]Victorine[/name_f]
[name_f]Winifred[/name_f]

I think if you dont like a “G” name, maybe explore “B” names so that the alphabet theme still works. I think the above [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] idea is a good one.

I really like the suggestion of [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f].

Other ideas:

[name_f]Margo[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecile[/name_f]
[name_f]Clarice[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Camille[/name_f]
[name_f]Maren[/name_f]
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
[name_f]Colette[/name_f]* (LOVING this one with [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]!)
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f]

You
Like [name_f]Elena[/name_f]
Like [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
Like [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
Like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
Might want some tie in to the letter G, but not a G starting name
Like an alphabetic theme - might B work? Or skip to H?
Want a name that’s not too popular (hard for me to know always with local variation…)
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t want it to end in A
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t want it to end in EE sound

Hmm.

([name_m]Just[/name_m] to confirm, as I don’t think I’ve seen them: No [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], no [name_f]Grier[/name_f], no [name_f]Georgette[/name_f], no [name_f]Gillian[/name_f]?)

[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] ([name_f]Aggie[/name_f] is so G heavy)
[name_f]Avigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Genny[/name_f]?)
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]
[name_f]Magdalen/name_f
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] (nickname [name_f]Greta[/name_f], [name_f]Gretchen[/name_f]?)
[name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]?)
[name_u]Padget[/name_u]
Regine (nn [name_f]Gigi[/name_f]?)

[name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and:

[name_f]Annalise[/name_f], [name_f]Coraline[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f], [name_f]Melisande[/name_f], [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
