She was week and a bit earlier than planned but nonetheless perfect at 7lbs 4oz and 19inches long with the cutest little tuff of brown curly hair and big brown eyes (which I’ve been told is quite unusual but my mother says I was born with brown eyes).
But the thing you all probably want to know is that we have decided to name her [name_f]Martha[/name_f] [name_f]Fenna[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
The story behind her name makes me smile, I had been having pains most of Thursday night but was told by the hospital that I couldn’t come in until they were closer together. The next morning [name_u]Alex[/name_u] and myself were in the kitchen making breakfast with music playing and the song “[name_f]Martha[/name_f], My Dear” by the Beatles came on and [name_u]Alex[/name_u] was goofing around trying to distract me from the pain when…my waters broke. After ringing the hospital we hopped in the car and turned some music on (on a seperate appliance) and the song that started to play was “[name_f]Martha[/name_f], My Dear”! As many of you know [name_f]Martha[/name_f] has been a favourite of mine for awhile but I’ve always been unsure but once we met her we knew she could be nothing else but a [name_f]Martha[/name_f]! It must have been fate nudging us in the right direction with the song!
[name_f]Martha[/name_f] came home last night and is settling in and myself and [name_u]Alex[/name_u] are totally in love with her and keep on staring at her in awe, we can’t quite believe we made something so beautiful.
