What do the Berries think of the baby name Aldrin? What would you think if you saw it used? Would it age well? Opinions? Thanks
I’d think the child’s parents are very into NASA and space exploration. Or I’d think they’re big [name]Star[/name] Wars fans but can’t spell Alderaan.
I really, really like it! I like the space connection. But it reminds me of Alduin (if you’ve ever played Skyrim) and Aldrin is also the name of the banned insecticide that ends up killing fish.
I love it! Aldrin sounds like a strong, can get any household item then do the taxes, type of man. Smart, outdoor loving, outgoing guy. No cute nicknames come to mind when he is little, but that’s ok.
Honestly, the space connection didn’t even cross my mind, so no worries there.
I like it! I know a boy named [name]Alden[/name] (prn All-din) which is quite similar.
The space connection is appealing to me. I think it is a great example of the modern hero name trend ([name]Monroe[/name], [name]Harlow[/name], [name]Gable[/name], [name]Bardot[/name], [name]Jagger[/name], [name]Lennon[/name], [name]Anniston[/name], [name]Hendrix[/name]…) without being overused, over common, or named after an actor (or sex symbol). Aldrin seems close enough to [name]Alden[/name] or [name]Auden[/name] to be acceptable but different enough to be unique. Thanks for all the feedback, Berries, I appreciete your input
