A boy named Eden.

I really like [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]!!

oh, i see this is not relevant already but I want to name my baby boy [name_u]Eden[/name_u] now and looking all over the internet about it. Here in [name_u]Israel[/name_u] I haven`t met boys named [name_u]Eden[/name_u], only girls, but i just looooove in on boys :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m not sure if I can quite give my verdict here, but if it counts, I do have a character named [name_u]Eden[/name_u] who is a boy. I feel like [name_u]Eden[/name_u] fits more as a males name than a females name, in my opinion. It has the “en” or “in” sound that many male names have, like [name_u]Aiden[/name_u], [name_m]Branden[/name_m], [name_u]Austin[/name_u], etc. It is a bit feminine in term of the word itself but I believe it’s a lovely male’s name.

With the other pronunciation, it seems fine. With [name_m]Ed[/name_m]-en, it would be a surprise, but many names are surprises these days so not a big deal for the public. Might be hard on the boy himself, not sure. I don’t know any males who would like to be named that, but I don’t know too many kids under 10.

Personally speaking I do slightly prefer it on a girl. I can see it on a boy too though. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_m]Eben[/name_m]?
