I love the name [name_m]Jack[/name_m] but I feel it’s too short and simple for my naming “style”. I have been in a trend of liking boys names for girls with girly middle names ([name_m]Jonah[/name_m] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f], Maisyn [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]) but all shortened into nicknames ([name_u]Jo[/name_u] [name_u]Jo[/name_u], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], and [name_f]Maisy[/name_f]). I also like the names [name_f]Jessa[/name_f], Jorjah, and Jaedyn for girls and [name_m]Ransom[/name_m], [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m] ([name_u]Remi[/name_u]), and [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] for boys. I like J names, as my name starts with a J, but I’m not sure if my husband and I will decide to have all J names.
I would love to have a unique and interesting name for a boy that I can shorten to [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. I’ve been thinking of using Jackamo (pronounced Jah-ka-mo) as [name_m]Jack[/name_m] would be in the name and my (semi redneck) family can call him Camo. I’m afraid that if I name him Jackamo people will mispronounce and misspell it.
I don’t like [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] or [name_m]John[/name_m] or [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] as they feel to popular, but I don’t want to name him something totally unrelated to [name_m]Jack[/name_m] (like [name_m]Dawson[/name_m]). What are some unique names that I could use the nickname [name_m]Jack[/name_m] for?
