[name]Hi[/name] Berries,
Wondering if I could get your opinion on names for baby #2, a brother for [name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Grace[/name] (who we call “[name]Ada[/name]”). The front runners right now are:
Oh I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]August[/name] ([name]Gus[/name]). Though they start with the same letter, it shouldn’t be an issue because the names start with different sounds, and the nicknames start with different letters
I like [name]August[/name] [name]Murphy[/name] or [name]Felix[/name] [name]Everett[/name]! [name]Felix[/name] [name]Murphy[/name]'s okay too. Not a huge fan of [name]Asher[/name]. [name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is beautiful, by the way.
I absolutely love the idea of [name]Adelaide[/name] and [name]August[/name] together! [name]Ada[/name] and [name]Gus[/name] are too cute together. I like [name]August[/name] [name]Asher[/name] a lot as a combo, as well. [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Everett[/name], too–is there any chance of that as a FN? I think [name]Adelaide[/name] and [name]Everett[/name] would be so stunning together!
Thanks everyone! I love [name]Everett[/name] as well, but I’m not sure my husband would buy it as a first name. I think “vintage chic” is definitely my naming style, so I’ll be sure to check the lists recommended by lori. lizabethrose, love [name]Rupert[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name]!
What do you guys think about just “[name]Ash[/name]” as a middle name? As in [name]August[/name] [name]Ash[/name] or [name]Felix[/name] [name]Ash[/name]. Does [name]August[/name] [name]Ash[/name] sound too much like a type of tree?
[name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Archibald[/name] [name]Everett[/name]
[name]Ada[/name] and [name]Archie[/name], how cute would that be?
I’ll play devil’s advocate and say that [name]Gus[/name] makes me think of mice. I know that one is really popular 'round these parts, but [name]Augustus[/name] Gloop, [name]Gus[/name] the mouse, and the sound of “[name]Gus[/name]” all are turn offs. I was born in [name]August[/name], so I like the meaning and sense of [name]August[/name], but the nickname doesn’t do anything for me.
[name]Everett[/name], I like better. I also like [name]Julian[/name] for a brother to [name]Ada[/name].
