[name_m]Hi[/name_m] There, this is my first time posting! We are expecting our third son this [name_u]December[/name_u] and are really struggling with naming a third boy! It feels like we’ve been through them all and have a reason to rule everything out because of sibling set flow (which maybe I’m concentrating too hard on?).
Anyway we have a 6 year old [name_m]Casper[/name_m] and a 3 year old [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and we love their names so much. We have a few names in our back pocket but I would love to hear any suggestions you think fits with our style?
Originally my stipulations were that it started with a different letter to our existing names and finished with a different sound and maybe had two syllables as well. I’m [name_f]English[/name_f] and I don’t want to use anything that’s too popular there either (even though we live in US).
Would so love to hear any ideas you might have. TY!
Starts with a different letter, ends with a different sound, two syllables and a good sibset sound.
[name_f]My[/name_f] very first thought is what im sticking with.
[name_m]Casper[/name_m], [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_u]Eli[/name_u].
I originally toyed with [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], [name_u]Eli[/name_u] for short or [name_u]Elijah[/name_u], but i really just love the simplicity of [name_u]Eli[/name_u] and the three boys names roll off the tongue smooth as butter.
Congrats on baby number 3 and may the birth and name.choosing go well
I adore [name_m]Rufus[/name_m], have for a long time! I also adore [name_m]Hardy[/name_m], [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], and [name_u]Moses[/name_u] so maybe you’ll like them too
Casper + Rufus are very unexpected with a hipster feel.
Huge congratulations on baby boy #3
You’ve had lots of lovely suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries

Regarding sibling set cohesion I think you should focus on finding a name you love rather than focusing on cohesion. It’s a privilege to name a child and I think we get so caught up on things like popularity or cohesion that we don’t choose a name we love so I strongly advise you to choose a name you love.
I do think you possibly need to stop worrying about a cohesive set so much - they’re going to be separate people with separate friend groups and lives as adults. As long as it’s not something like [name_u]Aidan[/name_u], [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] and [name_u]Brayden[/name_u], you’re all good!
But here are some ideas anyway, sorry for repeats, haven’t looked at the other posts
I haven’t actually checked meanings (if that’s important to you) or popularity, but they’re ones with different starts and ends that feel like they could fit.
Seconding [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Lucian[/name_m] from above! I’d add [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m], [name_u]Milo[/name_u] and [name_u]Gideon[/name_u].
