Hello again! I recently made a thread for help picking a name as a brother to our son [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. After getting some great suggestions we have narrowed it down to a list of choices. If we could get your opinions on the names, and more suggestions if you have one that you think we’d like, that would be great. Thank you!

I like the sound of [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] & [name_u]August[/name_u] best - there are too many L sounds with [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] & [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], it’s a bit of a tongue twister!
I also like how [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] & [name_u]August[/name_u] both start with the same letter. If you had another child, a cute idea would be to have their first name start with J to match with [name_u]James[/name_u]!

[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] - ([name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] - would be my only choice if it were this ones middle) I like the match of soft start and a hard end. Also love [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]!
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] - This one has the same feel of soft start and a hard end with the ‘t’, still a sibset theme but very unnoticeable.
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] - Same as above.
Honorable Mentions:
I do love [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] but I think [name_u]James[/name_u] is not substantial enough next to [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. I would suggest [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] or [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and then this would knock [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] even [name_u]August[/name_u] from my top 3. [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] would have made a placement as well but I dislike [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] so that is why I didn’t place it on my top 3.
Why I dislike them with [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] -
[name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] - Saying [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] & [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] felt too ‘n’-y I dont like too much repetition
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] - [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] are very popular so maybe choosing something less popular will break the trendiness?
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] - I dislike [name_u]Max[/name_u] - it’s a personal reason.
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m] - I feel like this name is too early 2010s maybe because I have seen a lot of boys named this around then.
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] - I love [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and I think it could fit but the middle name is lackluster for me.
[name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] - [name_m]Luke[/name_m]/[name_m]Lucas[/name_m]/[name_u]Luca[/name_u] seems overdone to me.
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] - I’m having difficulty seeing this on a boy, a favorite celeb named their girl this and the ‘inside out’ movie.
[name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] - I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] but dislike [name_m]Miles[/name_m], personal opinion.
[name_u]Hudson[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] - I don’t think it would clash with [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] but I just didn’t find it appealing and fitting.
I like [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] (or even [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] or [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] to match [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and because less expected).
Then:
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] (or [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] or [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m] — seem easier to say to me)

[name_u]August[/name_u] is coming up a fave - and it does give the nn [name_u]Gus[/name_u] - but I see [name_u]August[/name_u] as in a different category to the playful and adventurous [name_u]Flynn[/name_u].
