Hubby and I are having a hard time deciding on a name for our second son due in [name_f]April[/name_f].
We are Australians living in [name_u]America[/name_u] and one of our biggest problems is names sounding different in each accent. We went with [name_u]James[/name_u] for our first son because it sounded similar in both accents, plus we both really love the name and it has strong family connections for us.
With our second, I think we have narrowed it down to [name_u]Evan[/name_u] or [name_m]William[/name_m]. The mn will be [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], which I don’t love but it’s a family name to honor both our fathers, so I’ll go with it.
Which do you prefer? [name_u]Evan[/name_u] or [name_m]William[/name_m].

My favourite is [name_m]William[/name_m] I think it’s a really handsome brother name for [name_u]James[/name_u]. I think [name_m]William[/name_m] & [name_u]James[/name_u] sound great together very classic.

I think [name_m]William[/name_m] has that same traditional vibe & I strongly prefer it — Both with [name_u]James[/name_u] & as a name on it’s own.

William [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] is so handsome, and it fits very well with [name_u]James[/name_u]! [name_u]Evan[/name_u] is also a lovely name, though.

I personally prefer [name_u]Evan[/name_u] but I agree [name_m]William[/name_m] is better suited to [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Vincent[/name_m]

I’m another vote for [name_m]William[/name_m]. [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] makes a lovely choice with big brother [name_u]James[/name_u].

William makes a great classic brother for [name_u]James[/name_u]! I really like [name_u]Evan[/name_u], too, but I don’t love it quite as much with [name_m]Vincent[/name_m].

William! [name_u]Evan[/name_u] is ok, but [name_m]William[/name_m] is a much better fit with [name_u]James[/name_u]. [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] is a beautiful mn. [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] is fabulous, you can not go wrong with it.
