A brother for Orson and Amias

Hello! Our third son was “due” last [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f]! I’m still pregnant and we’re still not sure about his name. I’d love your guidance!

Our other two boys are [name_m]Orson[/name_m] [name_u]Chandler[/name_u] and [name_m]Amias[/name_m] [name_u]Parker[/name_u]. They have mine and my mother’s maiden names as their middle.

We’re torn between
[name_u]Mercer[/name_u] [name_u]Bay[/name_u] and [name_m]Lional[/name_m] [name_u]Bay[/name_u]. [name_u]Bay[/name_u] is the nickname of my granddad :slight_smile:

Which do you prefer? I’d love to hear from you in these names :slight_smile:

Thanks in advance!

Warmest congratulations @asl123107,

Genuinely sharing your joy!

[name_u]Lionel[/name_u] is the best fit with [name_m]Amias[/name_m] and [name_m]Orson[/name_m].

My personal suggestion:

[name_m]Amias[/name_m] {and} [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] / [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] {and} [name_m]Orson[/name_m] {and} [name_m]Uriah[/name_m]

{equivalent five-letter vintage vowel names}

I think [name_u]Lionel[/name_u] sounds better with [name_m]Amias[/name_m] and [name_m]Orson[/name_m]. [name_u]Lionel[/name_u] [name_u]Bay[/name_u] is very handsome!

I like [name_u]Mercer[/name_u] very different but not out there. Sounds handsome and strong.

[name_u]Lionel[/name_u] is a lovely name x

[name_u]Lionel[/name_u] is lovely with [name_m]Orson[/name_m] and [name_m]Amias[/name_m]!

I absolutely love [name_u]Lionel[/name_u] [name_u]Bay[/name_u].

A tough one. I love the sound of [name_u]Mercer[/name_u]. It comes across as a strong name which goes well with [name_m]Orson[/name_m], but not a fan of its meaning. Is it [name_m]Lional[/name_m] or [name_u]Lionel[/name_u]? I like the meaning, it’s a softer sounding name fitting with [name_m]Amias[/name_m]. But it makes me think of [name_u]Lionel[/name_u] [name_m]Ritchie[/name_m] so I would go with [name_m]Orson[/name_m], [name_m]Amias[/name_m] and [name_u]Mercer[/name_u]!
