We are expecting baby number 3 in [name_f]February[/name_f], and we found out we are having our second boy. My daughter’s name is [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], and my son’s name is [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]. Our surname is [name_u]Shea[/name_u]. If this baby was a girl, we likely would have picked [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], or [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] as her name.
Current contenders for boys names:
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] (I don’t [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] this one)
[name_m]George[/name_m] (I don’t think it flows well with our surname)
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] (I love, my husband thinks it’s confusing because my Mum’s name is [name_f]Samantha[/name_f], nn [name_u]Sam[/name_u])
[name_u]Theo[/name_u] (we both like, but can’t actually picture using)
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] (husband doesn’t like)
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m] (middle name only)
For various reasons, we also like, but can’t use:
[name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
[name_m]Xavier[/name_m]
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u]
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m]
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m]
No M names (we have a ridiculous number of M named people in both our families, and we both have an M name.
[name_u]Penny[/name_u], [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_u]Sam[/name_u] sound awesome. I’d pick [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but don’t if you don’t love it.
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] [name_u]Shea[/name_u] is a nice combo and having the same nickname as your mom is a nice thing imo, not confusing.
What about [name_m]Levi[/name_m], [name_m]Luke[/name_m], [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]…?
We have very similar taste in names ! I love your list and think [name_u]Penny[/name_u], [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] ( [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]) is sweet. I also like [name_m]Oscar[/name_m].
I like the suggestion of [name_u]August[/name_u] and like it even more with the nickname [name_u]Gus[/name_u]. [name_u]Penny[/name_u], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], and [name_u]Gus[/name_u].
Your older son has a one syllable first name. I would probably use the same for a second boy. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is a great name! Strong, classic, good for a young boy and a grown man.
