A brother for Quentin

[name]Hi[/name], Berries! I usually just hang out around the baby name games section, since I’m both a name nut and a nut for word games. I have a son named [name]Quentin[/name] and I’m expecting another boy in early [name]December[/name]. I’m looking for boy names that “go well” with [name]Quentin[/name]. I’m not a fan of trendy names, but I’m not opposed to popular names. I like classic, but rare. A name that when you see it, you know it, but don’t find many bearers of the name. That’s why I chose the name [name]Quentin[/name]. What names might YOU suggest?

[name]How[/name] about

[name]Roman[/name] or [name]Ronan[/name]

[name]Love[/name] [name]Trevor[/name] & [name]Jasper[/name]! [name]Travis[/name] is out because that’s my brother & nephew’s name.

[name]Quentin[/name] and brother…
[name]Hugh[/name] / [name]Hugo[/name]

[name]Mischa[/name] from your list, I like:

[name]Hugh[/name] (my grandfather’s name, who recently passed)

from your shorter list I like: [name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Xavier[/name], [name]Wyatt[/name], [name]Dominic[/name] and [name]Jasper[/name].

from mischa’s list i also like: [name]August[/name], [name]Jonah[/name], [name]Micah[/name], [name]Ellis[/name], [name]Jude[/name], [name]Emmett[/name], [name]Isaac[/name], [name]Leo[/name], [name]Sawyer[/name] and [name]Sterling[/name].

to add a few more of my own:

[name]Hope[/name] this helps!

Entangler from your list I like:

[name]Levi[/name] (great-grandfather’s name, won’t use because a cousin has it)
[name]Sebastian[/name] ( I’ve had two students with this name, both were wonderful boys)
[name]Rowan[/name] (this is the family surname of my paternal great-grandmother)
[name]Stellan[/name] (just because my ears love it)
[name]Owen[/name] (this would honor my birth city)
[name]Julian[/name] (almost named my first son this name)
[name]Andrew[/name] (prefer just plain old, [name]Drew[/name], though)
[name]Gavin[/name] (love, but can’t use… a close friend’s son & lives in our city)

Thanks for the suggestions. I’m going to make a long list of name possibilities and gradually work my way down to a short list. Ladies, you all have been awesome!

Always and forever [name]Quentin[/name] and [name]Miles[/name] are linked in my mind as the perfect brother sibset.

When we were pregnant with [name]Quentin[/name], [name]Miles[/name] was the name my husband wanted…until I presented him with the name “[name]Quentin[/name].” He liked the option of a nickname possibility.
